OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 3, 2012
Half champagne-sized bottle, kindly shared by larsga. Unclear reddish body. Tall pink-shaded blond head. Sour-acidic berry aroma. Brett and vinegar tones. Taste is strong lemon-acidic, with cranberries in the background. Sparkling, almost fizzy mouthfeel. Dry tart and woody notes in an acidic ending.

Bottle (375ml) from Vinmonopolet (Vika), Oslo. Hazy ruby/orange colour. Huge, light pink head, receding as an impressively shaped foam structure, settling as an uneven film with lots of sticky lacing. Massively fruity aroma with raspberry, sour cherry, cranberry, arctic bramble, grape kernel, vinegar, barnyard. Medium body, lively carbonation. Sweet juicy and tart taste with a slightly burning vinegar acidity - nicely balanced, maybe a bit heavy on the vinegar. Long juicy/tart/vinegary aftertaste.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. The beer pours an orange-pink color with a white head. The aroma is very heavy on the cranberries with a light amount of tartness and some sweet sugar notes. The flavor is a little bit different. I get some sour cranberries as well as some vinegar notes and some toffee. There is also a hint of funk. Medium mouthfeel and low carbonation.

sulawang (1168) - - MAY 20, 2012
pours red wine red, massive thick foamy head with long retention. Ultra strong 10/10-level tartness, 9/10-level sourness, clean cranberry flavour, 3/10-level sweetness, traces of barnyard funk. Low-medium complexity, medium depth, okay transitions, good carry, average drinkability. It’s so darn tart and sour I’m not sure how to enjoy it.

Huge pink head. Hazy pink body. Vinegary cranberry aroma. Dry-sour cranberry and wood taste with vinegary notes. Mid-to-light body. Sharp mouthfeel. Dry-bitter, slightly sweet, cranberry and wood aftertaste with oily chemical notes. Nice, but not great. (0.375l bottle shared by Skomakern.)

Bottle Slightly hazy dark red with a medium, fluffy head. A lot of berries both in the aroma and taste. Nicely tart with funk, wood, yeast and light notes of sugar. The finish was dry and very tart. I liked this beer a lot.

Sigmund (7654) - Tau, NORWAY - MAY 7, 2012
375 ml capped green bottle, from Vinmonopolet Vika, Oslo. ABV is 7.7%. 1/3 of the beer leaked out in my suitcase during the flight from Oslo to Stavanger. (But that was nothing compared to another bottle where ALL the beer leaked out, and the two botlles that broke, despite being wrapped in bubblewrap.) Still plenty of carbonation left in the bottle. Pours fizzy with a large off-white / peach head, the beer is cloudy red. Intense aroma of brettanomyces / "farmhouse", cranberries and red wine vinegar. The flavour is very sour, lemony and crisp, plenty of cranberries, oaky notes.

Bottle thanks to Savvy1982! Clear cranberry colored pour, tons of carbonation and an aroma of dark fruit/cranberry. Flavor is very tart cranberry, funky and kind of minerally on the aftertaste. Very good.
