Deep purple with tall pink head. It strikes the nose with loads of fresh blueberry notes, blending in with some mild hay which adds some bright spark to overall aroma. In taste it is sour in the front with some wood, vanilla, vinous notes, mild vinegar backing it and some tartness with this sour blueberry bite in the end which you will probably know if you ate fresh berries in your lifetime. Fairly carbonated, slick, with medium body.

The beer is a dark purple color. Too dark to see through. People magenta head. Somewhat fizzy but it sticks around for a few minutes. The aroma is wonderfully rich with blueberry pie flavors. Jammy blueberry with a light doughy sweetness. Deep, rich berry aroma. Mild vanilla and cinnamon. Packs a lot of fruit. The taste is only mildly to moderately sour. Very fruity without aggressive acidity. Moderately dry. Light oak. Fulfills all of the fruit promise of the aroma. Blueberry skin, fairly jammy with a pie-like sweetness. Moderate bitterness in the finish, oaky and fruity. LIght to medium body. Long finish. Very enjoyable.

The best of these Ive had probably, still not nearly as good as the best Belgian blenders can make but the fruit comes through nicely and its not stomach destroying vinegar.

From bottle, poured a deep dark Ruby red colour with a darker pink head. Aroma is bursting with deep blueberries, light old grains, vanilla, tart berries, vinegar tartness, light cinnamon kind of sweetness, and sweet blueberry pie. Taste is big clear blueberries. Vinegar tartness, sweetness, light yeast. Lovely, one of the more blueberry forward sour beers ive had
