Draught @ [ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012 ] @ Spartas Lokaler, Faelledparken in Osterbro, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Dark purple brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, purple head. Aroma is moderate berry, blueberry, light butter - celery. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration, tart, blueberries. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. IMO a amazing appearance, a bit let down by aroma but flavor is very nice ...

On tap. Pours an opaque deep, deep red - close to black more - think beet juice! - with a dense purple red. Clearly one of the best looking beers I’ve ever had. Very, very dry berry aroma. The body is light only, with mouthdrying and astringent berry accents, metallic and minerally. Ends tart and astringent. A little more sweetness and I really would’ve loved this. 120512 madmitch76 (24360) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2012

On tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration.
Attractiv deep purple beer with hot-pink head. Palate is light and dry. The Blueberry is pretty intense but not too sour. Fairly dry finish. Thought this one would make me wince but I was pleasantly surprised it wasn’t too tart.
Draft courtesy of Mikkel, thank you sir! Deep purple color, purple head, puple lacing, puple glassware. Aroma of purple blueberries. Taste is sweet blueberry jam. Too sweet for me. cgarvieuk (24163) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 28, 2012

Draft at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. Pours deep purple with a large, beetroot-colored head. Plenty of tart berries in the nose. Super fresh flavor, light to medium sweet, very tart, with nice, fresh and underripe blueberries, along with some grassy bitterness. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Extremely fresh and cleansing on the finish, plenty of rindy and grassy bitterness, loads of underripe blueberries. Very nice. Really dries out the teeth. Good beer to freshen the palate.
