Pours a tomatoey red color with a white head. The aroma is very funky with some raspberries and strong barnyard notes. The flavor is also quite interesting with some tart raspberry character, some light sourness and some cheesy, barnyard funk. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A very nice lambic from Mikkeller. alkolas510 (1482) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 6, 2013

Aroma: funk, leather, tart raspberry, some vanilla, leaves.
Appearance: hazy ruby color, thick light-pink head with good retention and decent lacing.
Taste: nice raspberry character, fairly funky and dusty, pleasantly acidic, nice Brett complexity, earthy, really nice. Bold fruit and a bit of sweetness leads to a dry and funky finish.
Palate: light-medium body, medium carbonation.
Overall: funky, fruity, great brew. JulienHuxley (5950) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 30, 2013
Bottle. Hazy purple red pour with pink head. Cool raspberry aroma, funky, lots of raspberry, very fruity, jam-like aroma, not leafy or smelly like raspberries can get in certain lambics. Taste is quite fruity, great, bright raspberry flavor with a mild lactic lambic finish, dry and sour. Palate is semi-sweet, good carb and is medium bodied. Very tasty.

Bottle (375 ml). Shared by Julien, thanks! Murky purple/red with a medium pinkish/off-white head and some lacing. Aroma is a mix of sweet and sour raspberries along with sweetness notes, wood, light funk and lemony notes. Taste is moderately sweet with plenty of raspberries, light sourness and light funk and lemony notes. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Slightly dry. Not overly complex, but a nice use of the raspberries. Very good Wild Ale. jgb9348 (6478) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JUL 1, 2013
Rich hazy ruby body with some bronze tints and a thinnish pink head with some rather vibrant pink colours when held up to a light. Aroma of super tart and pungent raspberry flavours with a lot of yeast, tons of sour notes and a very pleasant gueze smell when the eyes are closed. Light-bodied; Strong sour notes of raspberries and cherries up front with a pungent yeast flavour and some light sweetness on the tail end. Aftertaste shows a hint of sour bitterness from the yeast with a large and sweet raspberry flavour and a little bit of grape and apple flavours. Overall, a nice and sour/bitter lambic with a lot of emphasis on the raspberries on the beginning and middle stages with almost solely bitterness at the end. I sampled this 37,5 cL ’split’ bottle purchased from Total Wine in McLean, Virginia on 04-January-2013 for US$13.99 sampled at home for my birthday in Washington on 30-June-2013. Wow! A delicious surprise! I was expecting an overly sweet beer and was 100% wrong. Aroma was near perfect. Must, funk and vinegar. Pour was eye watering beautiful. Dark hazy ruby with a one finger off white/pink head. Taste was outstanding as well. Strongly and aggressively sour with only hints of raspberry. Strong biting carbonation dry the mouth out and leaves a sour finish. Nice funky barnyard aromas come up more as it warms as well as in the taste. Great find!
