Saeglopur (2380) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - JUN 15, 2015
375 ml bottle il Pretesto Beershop, Bologna.

Dark copper, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, white, slightly pink head.

Delicious, complex aroma of oak, sweet-sour raspberries and other berries, barnyard, vanilla, some earthy notes.

Taste is sour, a bit tart, quite dry, with oak, funk, sour raspberries, citrus, grass.

Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.

Finishes smooth, sour, dry, wooden, fruity, a bit earthy, also a bit sweet.

Very tasty! Especially the nose is wonderfully manifold, with sweet barrel notes, typical sour notes and lots of fruits. Taste is also very nice, more sour than the nose, but also with lovely oak notes. Overall the best Mikkeller Lambic I’ve had so far and pretty close to my perfect beer of this style.

Brownish-red, deep raspberry/currant aroma, barrel tartness with some vinegar. Vinegary, woody, dry, with a fair bit of lacto. Nice stuff.

aleksander9 (1910) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 1, 2015
-Short review- Red. Strawberry, funk, lemon and floral. Balanced finish. Overall: Comparable to the cassis in execution.

ghendrix (171) - Rochester, New York, USA - MAR 12, 2015
Pours clear ruby red, thin fizzy white head that vanishes quickly. Aromas of raspberry jam, other berries, funk. Taste is tart, nicely sour, a touch of sweet in the front, quite acidic. Body is medium-light. High carbonation giving a tingling mouth. The finish is long and sour with a funky tinge. Not so keen on the funk at the end, otherwise a nice brew.

Lubiere (14182) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 8, 2015
A beautiful burgundy red ale with a thin white head. In aroma, wonderful raspberry jam with loads of horse blanket, lactic acid, Epsom salts, light Brett, funky and complex. In mouth, a nice tart ale with raspberry pulp, light Brett, light ground cherry, acidity, very nice smooth and wild. Bottle from Bièropholie via GRM. Merci Sylvain!

cfrancis (3584) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 21, 2015
