UPDATED: DEC 24, 2016 A fair few years on and have had this from a can several times now. Fucking unreal. Best roadie out Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours ruby pink with a small light pink head leaving ok lacing and quickly disappearing. Nose is of sweet and tarty fruits. Hints of strawberry, raspberry and peach. Light horse blanket. Taste shows major tart and funk throughout. Lots of sweet red and berry like fruits - strawberry, raspberry, currants. Heavy pucker. Fruits become heavier as it warms. Solid stuff ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @ What’s Brewing 15. 2015 vintage. Pours dark orange, with a small creamy head. Aroma is acetic, with tart berries and fruit peel, with raspberries, rhubarb and musty bretty wood. Full body, with soft to none carbonation. Flavour is acetic, with musty berry notes of raspberries and rhubarb, funky bretty wood and horseblanket, as well as some nice oaky notes. Dry musty earth in the finish. Tremendously balanced and drinkable. Brilliant! A close to perfect combo of funky farmyard, earthy notes and wooden brett, as well as delicious musty fruitiness. Could very well prove itself as a perfect 5 on a rerate, if it turns out to be even remotely as nice again (and again and...).

Bottle courtesy of Jesse. Thanks! Cloudy dark reddish brown with a fizzy white head. Huge raspberry, grains of paradise, Belgian yeast, and doughy aroma. Thick creamy palate. Sweet raspberry and chocolate taste up front immediately followed by a tart sourness and lemon taste, and ending with light pepper notes and a tart fruity and dry oaky finish. Not usually my favorite style, but this is damn good.

This fantastic entry into the Spontan- series is vinous and tart and great. The gooseberry is slightly better and drier but this is an excellent option. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines. Smells awesome - sweet fruit and Belgo sour tang. Smooth mouthfeel: initially a little sweetness, then a supremely palatable sour, juicy, fruity explosion. Really good. Exceeds expectation.

2013 - strong raspberry, slight balsamic aromas. A cloudy glowing raspberry red. Strong drunk raspberry taste slight astringent blend to a fruity tartness with subtle balsamic undertone. Powerful and complex flavor yet ties together in the aftertaste. Palate left refreshed and tart fruity fade. I will buy another to age and enjoy the change,

Draft pours hazy orange with no head. Fruity nose. Nice fruity flavors with a tongue twisting tartness. Excellent.

Tasted 2011-04-20. Pours unclear, red/brown with pink head. Color is kind of earl grey tea-ish. Aroma of raspberries and bretts. Acidic taste, but not as funky, as one could expect. Very drinkable. Love it!

Beautiful deep reddish pink color with nice lacy head. Smells like fruit rollups, very juicy, rich and tart. Delicious aroma. Reminds me of a halfway point between Raspberry Tart and a Cantillon.
