MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - OCT 30, 2013
shimmering ruby, moderately opaque with a puffy pink head that laces well but drops. Nose is surprisingly sour, slight cherry pie tempered by leather with plenty of dust and stable. Flavor is muted by the ultra high carbonation and resulting bitterness. mid is light cherry, bit syrupy before a watery earth finish, citric with faint wheat and mushroom hints lingering longer than desired. Ends short, incredibly bitter, but way more balanced than expected.

Bottle shared by Ben, thanks! Pours a light red with a thin head, the aroma had a little bit of skunk mixed in with a slight amount of funk and fruit, not as much as I was really looking for, the flavor has a light amount of fruit with just a touch of sourness in the finish, kind of underwhelming from what I was expecting out of it, wanted it to be a little bit more.

tommann (3754) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 14, 2013
375ml bottle. Pours bright red with a medium, frothy head. Aroma is earthy and tart cherry. Taste has cheesy cherry to start with a very sour and spicy cherry finish.

Sample from a 12.7oz bottle. Hazy dark red color. Thin off-white head. Funky, musty cherry aroma. Nice bigger cherry. Tart taste, lightly spicy, some tannic notes. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, slick, lighter carbonation, lightly dry and spicy in the finish. Tasty, spicy cherry sour.

12.7 oz bottle to taster. Looks good; a transparent cherry with light pink head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of cherries and mild funk. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Solid, but nothing special.

Bottle shared by madbeerbaron...thanks Ben! - Pours hazy red-pink with a thin ring of white head. Nose is skunky, with light cherry fruitiness. Muted cherry taste, not very tart, and a pale, malty base. Light and well-carbonated. Huh, this one didn’t do a whole lot for me.

375 ml bottle. Hazy reddish body with a big off-white head. Not very strong in aroma but distinct cherry with some funk. Flavor is fruity acidic, cherry, almond and some funk. Medium body and nice aftertaste. A nice kriek, but not exactly in the same league as the classics.

375 ml bottle from czar - thanks, mate. Pours an orangeish red with a resilient white head. Aroma is cherry, cheese. Flavor is cherry, red berries, herbal, unripe fruit, dry. Finish is herbal. Medium to strong body, frothy, soft mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid.

(Bottle, 0.375 l - BBE 10/05/22, from Drink Shop, Tallinn, 20130929) A gusher. The beer poured ruby red and clear. Its head was medium sized and lightly red. Aroma had cherries, cherry stones, sourness and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were sourness, cherries, wood, sweetness and bitterness. Afteraste was had sourness and berries. Not a good attempt to do a lambic. It may be the bottle was a bit off.
