Cherries and cat piss on the nose, beautiful ruby red color. Wonderful dry cherry flavor with a curious watermelon finish. Overall an amazing beer! Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - MAR 7, 2011
Bottle at ACBF 2011. Deep red color. Aroma of cherries and brett. Flavor is slightly sour, very fruity and well balanced. Very clean kriek. Nice. Brix (660) - DENMARK - MAY 2, 2011
Tasted 2011-04-22. Pours muddy, dark red. Funky brett aroma. Some cherries. Not much. Sour. More funky than the raspberry version. Love it. ngeunit1 (1555) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 12, 2013

Maybe I shouldn’t have had this right after I had the Amazing Spontanale but I couldn’t resist. The cherries definitely take away from the base beer. So they add cherry juice to a beer and what you get is it is muted a bit but all those great flavors are there. JorisPPattyn (9981) - Ursel, BELGIUM - MAR 21, 2011
Very well-carbonated garnet beer with pink coloured, whipped eggwhite-like head, quite persistent. Brettanomyces, barnyard and sour cherries’ nose; old wet wood. Sour, tart kriekenflavour, with, in opposition to the Spontanframboos, the leathery & lemony background of Brett and lactic fermentation close to lambic-based fruitbeer. Rather light body with acidthinning and -burn; well-carbonated. Everything tastes as it should, and natural. Very good kriek, halfway between Zottegemse and kriekenlambic. dimenhetfield (2486) - , Florida, USA - AUG 15, 2011
Small pour provided by Dstructo. Red color with a very bubbly head. Aroma is very fruity with hints of various types of sweet fruit. Flavor is very tart and sour, hits you right in the back of the jaw like a good old sucker punch. suprchunk (2994) - Crestview, Florida, USA - AUG 17, 2011
Dark, dark brilliantly clear ruby/blood red color. Huge off-white head that seems to stick around forever. As it slowly fades it leaves thick bubbly lacing behind. Smell of tart sour cherries. A bit of woody peppery-ness in the nose as well. Along with some brett. Very sour twangy mouthfeel. A subdued sweetness. Funky earthy flavors and some cherries. Dried cherries. Nice mouthfeel, even if a little warm. I really am digging this beer. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - MAR 1, 2012
Bottle courtesy of Jesse. Thanks! Clear dark red with a fizzy white head. Sweet cherry, candy sugar, and alcohol aroma. Very bright lively palate. Tangy sour tastes of cherry and lemon with some candy sugar sweetness and a dry fruity finish.
