Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Jeden z tych spontanów, w których dodatek jest raczej słabo wyczuwalny. Mimo że mandarynka to przecież bardzo aromatyczny owoc.

Bottle at Uiltje. Golden orange pour. Aroma of tart, horseblanket, mandarin and oak. Taste is quite sour, with horseblanket, tart mandarin and some oak. Very nice.

Bottle, shared by myself, in the library... just now.
Pours golden with a big white head and good lacing on the glass.

The aroma is quite funky, earthy with a bit of horse blanket & wet limestone. There is a bit of wood and a lemon zest like brightness. It’s a really nice smelling beer although I’m not catching much orange in the bouquet.

The flavor is very dry with a lightly puckering sourness. It’s got a fair amount of oak and earthy bitterness especially for what I’ve seen from this series, but I like that a lot about this one. There is a citrus like fruitiness to it and if you’re looking for it, yes there is a nice orange flavor amidst the lemon and zesty flavors, although blind I’m not sure I’d identify "orange" so easily. It’s just got a nice balance of earthiness, brightness, and acidity... everything plays well together here, nothing dominates.

A really nice beer on all accords

This was a weird combo. I liked it for sure, but not quite for the price. Never had such a strong orange and citrus presence with a vinegary base. Weird but nice.
