37.5 cl bottle @ home. Pours clear yellow with a white head that leaves no lacing. Aroma and flavour are lemons, yeast, and brett - with a dry finish.

375 mL bottle. Hazy deep orange. No head. Smells of passionfruit, oak, light sweet malt, and a tinge of citrus. Tastes intensely sour right up front. Passionfruit, then a little vinegar sourness. Oak. Sourness really takes over in the back end until it’s all passionfruit sourness. Medium body. It’s intense. Short of undrinkably sour, but close.

5/29/17. 375mL from Chan’s, PCB. Enjoyed with Mrs. Owl on our 7th wedding anniversary! Hazy orange pour with a small khaki head that sizzles away. Fruity aroma, passionfruit, barnyard, funk. Slightly disappointing flavor, plent sour, a bit of fruit, not as much funk and complexity as I usually get in this Spontans. Still tasty!

Bottle pour. The beer is a cleqr gold with a white head of foam. Aroma has strong fruity and musty. Not sure what passionfruit tastes like, bit this beer is nice. Medium body and medium to high carbonation.

From a cellar temp bottle, this has a brilliantly well balanced sour and sweet flavour. The aroma is not as sharp as some lambics , but this is a great tasting beer

Spritzig säuerlicher Beginn, exotisch fruchtig, die Passionsfrucht kommt gut hervor. Die Säure steigt noch leicht, wirkt insgesamt weich, das Bier dadurch süffig. Etwas trocken, spät brennt die Säure leicht. Gut! 10/11/12/12/12/11

375 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 8/20/2025. Pours fairly crystal clear golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big sour lemon, lime, green apple, passion fruit, mango, peach, pineapple, white grape, hay, straw, musty funk, light leather, wheat, cracker, and yeast/oak earthiness. Fantastic aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, passion fruit, and light-moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big sour lemon, lime, green apple, passion fruit, mango, peach, pineapple, white grape, hay, straw, musty funk, light leather, wheat, cracker, and yeast/oak earthiness. Good amount of fruity/acidic sourness and light yeast/tannic oak spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of sour lemon, lime, green apple, passion fruit, mango, peach, pineapple, white grape, hay, straw, musty funk, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, passion fruit, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/sourness balance, and no astringent flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from acidity/sourness; minimally puckering. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, acidic, fairly creamy/grainy, and lightly tannic balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.7%. Overall this is an incredible fruit Lambic style! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, passion fruit, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink, despite the strong sourness/acidity. A really amazing offering.

375ml bottle. Turner’s, Sheffield. Clear, pale copper. No head. Nose has toasted malts. Some peach stone. Sweet tropical fruit. Some cooking apple sourness. Some red wine vinegar. Taste is vinegary, cider apple sour. Acidic, tart, cleansing mouthfeel. Fruity, tangy sour finish. Overly acidic. The passion fruit is pretty much buried.

drjoeng (1358) - SINGAPORE - SEP 14, 2016
7.7%ABV. Lambic. Tapped out deep gold. 10ºSRM. Nose is solid "spontan" with tart acetic aromas laced with pronounced barnyard type aromas of dirty wet straw, mud and manure. This iteration is a little more tart on the nose likely owing to the passionfruit. The nose also has some mildly savory aromas suggesting honey roasted pork or char siew, I get this impression from animal, light sweet and light toast aromas. Mouthfeel is lemon juicy. Palate has the same malty foundation with bread and biscuit flavors. Tartness of the juice comes on strong on the front of the palate, then fades to the bread dough malt, then a mild fruitiness suggesting passionfruit. Finish is a little sour on the back of the throat.

Hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is very fruity with lots of passionfruit, some lemon juice, grapes, light funky barnyard notes. Taste is sour and fruity, light funky. Finish is dry, sour and fruity with passionfruit, lemon juice, light grain notes and hints of barnyard. Light bodied, average carbonation.
Fruity and refreshing with lots of tangy passionfruit, might not be the most complex fruit lambic but very tasty.
