Bottle from Mane Liquor. Beautiful looking beer. Pours a very vibrant, clear dark orange sort of tangerine colour with a small, firm white head which lasts and leaves some thick spider legs. Nose is predominately very tarty and dry fruits - cranberry, currants, goji berries. Light horse blanket with some sweet lemon zest just behind it all. Taste is a lot tartier than expected. Almost like a very tarty cranberry juice with a sweet lingering finish. Quite refreshing. My missus actually liked this beer. Must be good then! dimenhetfield (2486) - , Florida, USA - MAR 3, 2013
Bottle shared with friends. Give thanks to Heyta for sending me this gem! I’ve come to love these Spontanale beers from Mikkeller. Most have that perfect balance of sour/sweet and tartness, and this one was no different. A real treat to sip. NobleSquirrel (3438) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 7, 2013
Bottle shared by Derek. Thanks! Pours a deep amber color with a pinkish head. Nose is very fruit forward. Juicy with notes of raspberry and currant. Distinct acidity in the nose. On tasting, tart currant jam. Fruit really pops here creating a juicy quality. Quite bitter, likely from the fruit. Clean acidity and dry finish. Really cool stuff. madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - FEB 6, 2013

Clear orange - amber beer. Pretty little pale peach coloured head. Light crisp palate, semi dry. Sour! About as sour as I can tolerate and still drink without great effort. White grape, white wine vinegar and a little peach. Dry finish with a little lemon.
375 ml bottle shared by deyholla. Thanks, dude! Pours a reddish glowing hue, healthy haziness, frothy head dissipates to a film and laces small. Aromas offer tart berry and lemon, touches of red fruit, hay, straw. Gentle brett, oaky qualities, lactic and yogurty feel.. A bit more muted and a touch of sweetness. Initial is still pretty sour, lemon and lactic qualities take over still. Red fruit, berry, and currant give a firm sour feel. A touch of sweetness, bretty, a bit dry and oaky as we move on. Mellow sweetness makes this a bit more palatable than the Cranberry for most. Although, I just find that one more striking. Well balanced, tasty. Good wild yeast play, oak and vanilla, straw and gentle dry bread. Nice one here.

from Erzbierschof - cloudy reddish-amber beer with a poor head retention; a fair sourish nose with notes of vinegar and redcurrant; quite full-bodied, juicy and fairly sourish, very dry and with a long aftertaste of redcurrant and vinegar deyholla (11609) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 20, 2013
Bottle thanks to Theis. Pours a clear pale amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a note of tart and bitter currant with a bit of backing funk. Flavor has a combination of tart and bitter currant with some acid coming out in the finish. Alusmamuts (1984) - LATVIA - JAN 17, 2013
Cloudy amber color with white foam. Sour lambic taste with certain (white?) courrant notes. Refreshing taste,

375ml bottle, best before 09/05/22. Hazy, deep amber with a bubbly, uneven off-white head. Aroma is slightly sour, wheat, tart red berries, mild honey. Taste starts off almost sweet but quickly turns seriously sour and tart. Notes of funky barnyard, redcurrants, oaky wood and cranberries. Mouthfeel is crisp with medium to high carbonation, a little sticky also. Really enjoyable. larsniclas (7078) - Billdal, SWEDEN - OCT 15, 2012
