375 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 1/27/2025. Pours hazy orange/copper color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big sour lemon, lime, pineapple, orange, berry, apricot, green apple, white grape, hay, straw, leather, oak, pepper, musty funk, wheat, cracker, light white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Fantastic aromas with awesome complexity and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, fruit, oak barrel, and light-moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge sour lemon, lime, pineapple, orange, berry, apricot, green apple, white grape, hay, straw, leather, oak, pepper, musty funk, wheat, cracker, light white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Large amount of fruity/lactic sourness and moderate yeast spiciness; with lingering notes of lemon, lime, pineapple, orange, berry, apricot, green apple, white grape, hay, straw, leather, oak, pepper, musty funk, light vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, fruit, oak barrel, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/sour/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very acidic and fairly creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an incredible fruited lambic style. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, fruit, oak barrel, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth to sip on despite it’s high acidity. A highly enjoyable offering. Theydon_Bois (19506) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - DEC 30, 2015

37,5cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - thanks! Pours slightly hazy amber with a modest, off-white head. Fruity, funky and flavourful! Funky aroma with notes of seabuckthorn, barnyard, Brett and a hint of tropical fruits. Moderate sweet with a strong acidity and funky flavours. Very refreshing! Bij Maakun. Fles. Enorm zure bastard. En daarna genadeloos bitter. Goudbes smaakje ("Kaapse kruisbes"). Seabuckthorn = duindoorn. Die had ik niet zo zuur en bitter verwacht. Backlog from 2015/08/28. slowrunner77 (12044) - Reno, Nevada, USA - DEC 9, 2015
Same acid vinegar and wood base with and added dose of bitterness. Not sure what seabuckthorn is, but I’m curious now. deyholla (11604) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - NOV 26, 2015
Bottle thanks to my mom! Pours a hazy earthy amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of very bitter berries with some acid and sour notes supporting. Flavor has sour and bitter berry notes throughout with a bit of growing acid. 574deadzone (1419) - North Central, Indiana, USA - NOV 26, 2015
A couple Danish pints. Hazy golden. Nose of earthy yeast, lemony citrus. Sharp Tartness, some bitterness, light sweetness. Medium bodied, fair action, puckering and drying on the tongue, finishing long with dust and mild funk. Cool brew to try, though verging into that overly tart flavor that I can’t do a lot of. Still, nicely constructed, though I still don’t know what the fuck a seabuckthorn is. oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - NOV 12, 2015
Pours a cloudy golden yellow color with big fizzy head. Aromas of vinegar, funk, horseblanket. Flavor is sour, funky, unbelievable!
