9/12/15. 375mL thanks to cbfobes. Golden pour under a nice off-white head. Nice aroma, acidic, sour orange, vanilla, oak. Awesome flavor, sour, citrus, light vanilla and oak, funky - so much I love! Really liked this stuff!

Pailhead (6495) - Plymouth, Michigan, USA - SEP 12, 2015
On tap: The aroma consists of moderate sour lemon, funk, cheese, and citrus. Its a cloudy dull dark orange with a small white head that quickly fades to a soapy ring. The flavor starts with a quick dose of tart citrus. The finish has moderate-heavy sour lemon, light-moderate oak, yogurt, and cheese. Its light bodied with moderate carbonation.

Fľaa. Mtnejia zlat farba, biela pena. Vňa citrusov, prezretej broskyne a kyslosti. V chuti na začiatku jemn sladkosť, ktor hneď prejde do vraznej kyslosti. Prjemn na jazyku, osvieujce. Aj keď dochuť veľmi kysl. Toto pivo nie je pre kadho.

Bottle from 100 piv, kindly shared by Lubo, huge thanks. Light hazy gold color with huge white head. Oranges, sea buckthorn, light hops in aroma. Tart taste with oranges, peaches, sea buckthorn in taste. Grassy hops in fruity finish. Tasty.

Sampled at ESBLS. Green bottle that had been found in the mix a six section. The aroma and flavor brought that out. This was so tart! Bitter tartness dominated. Some fruit and soft malts. But that tartness. And green bottle effects.

Maakun (4224) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - AUG 28, 2015
Bottle shared at home. Murky orange with off white head. Lots of sour fruits, apricot, gooseberries, kumquats, Inca berries, hay, funk, fresh cut wood, grass, berry pits. Strong sour and bitter, almost on the verge of being obnoxious. Medium bodied with slight fizzy carbonation. Bit too bitter for me.

Foffern (1704) - Bod, NORWAY - AUG 28, 2015
Bottle at home. Has a cloudy, dark orange color with a beige head. Sour aroma of vinegar, rowan berries, apple juice, forest floor, earth and oak. The flavor is similar but with more citric acid, red currants and lemon. Very sour. Has a medium body, slick mouth feel, and a heavy berry bitterness. A pretty sour lambic andt the seabuckthorn doesnt shine through, and feels quite close to a gueuze. Great lambic anyway.

Kita (1949) - Koper, SLOVENIA - AUG 15, 2015
Bottle, 0.375l. Murky earthy color with thin creamy off-white head, sparkling appearance and yeast residue. Aroma of vinegar, citrus, grapes, barnyard and basement notes. Taste start sour grainy, citric and yeasty, follows by tannine, floral and herbal hints with dry mouthfeel and mild bitter finish. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Great fruity lambic...

Nocturne (1892) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - AUG 5, 2015
375ml bottle. Hazy brownish orange. Few fingers of head. Aroma is wild barnyard type notes, quite musty, old, straw, baking bread. Taste is on the juicy side. Not too dry and oaky, but nicely sour. The fruit doesnt stand out for me but then Im not familiar with sea buckthorn. Enjoyable.

On tap, Mikkeller & Friends, Copenhagen. Pours hazy orange, small white head. Citruses, extremely acidic. Dry finish. Kind of interesting, one of the most acidic beers Ive tried.
