beer-yum (1656) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 30, 2015
UPDATED: MAY 31, 2015 Standard sour aroma in a golden amber pour. I have no idea what a buckthorn tastes like - let alone the ’sea’ version. But this is damned nice. Has a hint of ’wood’ without it being pervasive.

mfrato (110) - - MAY 30, 2015
Pours a tawny gold with minimal lacing. Aroma is tart with a hint of brine, definitely can tell this is a sour. Flavor is wow, ho-boy is this a sour. Excellent beer, hard to describe honestly. Very good though

bottle sample at Moor Pat, Williamsville, NY. golden pour, medium to fuller bodied. tart/sour, earthy, juniper, wierd scandanavian flavors. Interesting & quite good

thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 28, 2015
(Draught) cloudy deep orange with fine white bubbles. Nose of tart blood orange, tart berry, wheat, interesting. Taste of tart blood orange, so tart at times (without the vinegar associated with some) it’s nearly bitter, wheat, pulp of citrus, really refreshing in small quantities, great tart linger, juicy citrus fruit.

SinH4 (4719) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - APR 27, 2015
UPDATED: MAY 11, 2015 Hazy yellow color with small white head. Salty salami smell, sour as well. Funny. Taste is refreshing, dry, sour. Lacks balance. Not the best of Mikkeller?s spontan series. EDIT: decanted and when the keg is not completely new, it’s much better. No salami anymore, great funk, heavy sourness, but awesome!

nihtila (3603) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 20, 2015
UPDATED: OCT 22, 2015 Bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours cloudy dark orange with almost no head. Nose is very sour, salt, strange fruits or berries. Taste is sour, salty, very sour, that same berry again, seabuckthorn? Not a fan.

ciaranc (1102) - Dublin, IRELAND - APR 3, 2015
Draught at Mikkeller&Friends. Cloudy orange, little head, sour notes, orange zest in the aroma - REALLY sour flavour, citrus fruit notes around the edges, decent body on this, low carbonation, robust mouthfeel and long, really sour finish, great stuff altogether

McNeillR (2315) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 20, 2015
Murky orange, light ringed head . Tart, obviously, blurry salty earthy breezy. Initial taste is real sooky sour, brisk but a bit of a yo-yo in and out - salty, vinegerette finish. Linger is clingy, tangy and richly soured.
