0.375 l bottle from ’Rudat’, best before September 2024, cellared for two-and-a-half years. Clear, very dark, slightly brownish red with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, brownish white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, moderately funky and very fruity aroma of sour cherries, bitter almond, oak and some red grapes. Sweetish, moderately sour, quite fruity and slightly funky taste of sour cherries, balsamic vinegar, red grapes, wood and bitter almond, followed by a medium long, quite tart, rather woody-dry and slightly vinous finish. Medium body, smooth, slightly creamy and moderately astringent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very pleasant Kriek, well-balanced, quite fruity and not too sour, therefore highly refreshing and even rather quaffable. Good!

Tap at villains in Chicago. Pours clear Red. Nose is cherry all the way, much like a normal kriek, vanilla, red grapes, red currant. Palate is sour cherry, tingy start, fruity middle, not as intense as some the belgian ones, hint of cherry jam. Very good, just missing some oomph.

4/30/17. 375mL bottle from Quick N Save. Deep red pour with a nice off-white head. Funky lambic-like aroma, funk, cherry, maybe a slight metallic touch. Tart flavor, funky, loads of cherry, barnyard! Good stuff!

9/20 interesting but quite disappointing compared to chokeberry. Has a bit of a burn on the mouth and unsettled my stomach a little. I like the oak barrel ageing which Ives it a wine quality but it's a bit overpowering ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Aromat lekko słodki, wiśniowy, brettowy. W smaku wytrawne, kwaśne, bardzo owocowe.

Great sour, with a slight fruit hint to the sour aroma. The cherry sharpness is well balanced by the sweetness from the abv . Very good

Straight forwarf tart fruit beer. Pours dark reddish-purple. Moderate sour, fruity note. Enjoyable.

Tap - aroma is sour cherries. Pours a nice cherry pink. Taste is sour cherry vinegar, refreshing and clears the palette, but cannot be gulped because of the strong tartness ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
