COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Earlier batches brewed by Mikkeller at Ørbæk Bryggeri, Ørbæk, Denmark.
A love of American microbrews is the inspiration behind this IPA, brewed with generous amounts of aromatic, American hops, which provide the significant freshness and bitterness with lots of citrus notes. The taste sensations are nicely balanced by the sweetness from the caramel malt.
Ingredients : Water, malt (pilsner, munich and caramunich), flaked oats, hops (chinook, cascade and amarillo) and ale yeast.

Bottle. Amber, generous off-white head. Aroma malt, caramel, blood orange, pine, hops. Medium full body. Taste dominated by the blood orange, sweet elements gradually recede and bitter hoppy palate takes over.

MelvinKalksma (1629) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 10, 2017

Aroma:
Medium aroma of malts, caramel, orange, hops and citrus.

Appearance:
Turbid/opaque amber/orange veer with slight yeast and with a slight/medium off-white head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malta, caramel and orange; ends slightly bitter and dry with hops and citrus.

Overall:
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. Really tasteful and balanced in its flavours, but could have been more outspoken as well. Does nothing wrong, but nothing amazingly well.

ksiwzos (141) - GREECE - DEC 11, 2016
The first IPA I ever tried in my life, quite some time ago. Grassy, caramel, sweet cereal nose. I remember it was more fruity and complex than that. Amber color with small, off white head that lasts forever and laces beautifully. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter, berry like (strawberries?) notes, caramel, toffee, burned sugar, some nail polish overtones, greapes and raisins. Quite complex but not amazing taste. Body is medium, medium dry, cabonation is low. Nice brew but I remember it way better...

PhillyCraft (7589) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 29, 2016
Backlog, Bottle shared with some friends. Pours a hazy orange color. Minimal head. Smell is melon, grass, peppers, oats and orange hop. Flavor is the same. Medium carbonation and body.
