Earlier batches brewed by Mikkeller at Ørbæk Bryggeri, Ørbæk, Denmark.
A love of American microbrews is the inspiration behind this IPA, brewed with generous amounts of aromatic, American hops, which provide the significant freshness and bitterness with lots of citrus notes. The taste sensations are nicely balanced by the sweetness from the caramel malt.
Ingredients : Water, malt (pilsner, munich and caramunich), flaked oats, hops (chinook, cascade and amarillo) and ale yeast.

opalizujące, bursztynowe, bardzo obfita piana opada do pierzyny, ładnie zdobi szkło;
delikatny - owoce tropikalne, karmel, żywica;
ciało niskie, średnio nasycone, goryczkowy finisz;
karmel, cytrusy, żywica, delikatny alkohol, niska bardzo długa grejpfrutowo-alkoholowa goryczka;
piwo na pół gwizdka, aromat delikatny, smak też, jest bardzo pijalne, ale to raczej przez jego nijakość.

Un-Muzzling Olde Muzzlehatch Ratings, #6. 500 ml bottle from sum likker stoer in Vermont, sampled on Nov 25 2008 in a now-departed or lost Allagash glass (sniff) while reading the 5th Harry Potter book on my porch in the cold. A massive, creamy - whipped cream, almost - head lasts and lasts, leaving fine irregular lacing atop a lightly oily, translucent amber/brass body... a bright, ripe-fruity aroma, apples and cherries amidst resinous hops, perhaps a bit too sugary-caramelly but still solid...sweet, lightly oxidized body, a bit too syrupy and full for my taste but very drinkable and strong-flavored, a bit of cigarette ash near the finish is surprisingly not unpleasing, hop oiliness dominates at the end but the final touch of bitterness is subdued...perhaps slightly undercarbonated given the oiliness; I feel that perhaps this bottle was just a bit older than it should have been. Solid despite the faults in any case.

MarcoDL (4843) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 15, 2016
Bottle. Orange colour. Aroma of citrus, peach and malt. Nice taste of candi, peach, malt, grassy bitter and caramel. Strange sweet ipa.

Excalibur123 (487) - Soria, SPAIN - JUL 15, 2016

Dark amber. Rich and spicy hop profile, which complements the malty caramel very well. Moderately sweet taste, somewhat pungent (chinook’s signature), and quite bitter. Overall, a very good IPA. It has the right malt character and sweetness to balance the hops, and it much better than the recent fruity-and-no-bitterness trend.

Japalo (1874) - DENMARK - JUN 24, 2016
[email protected] Amber Two finger foam. Grapefruit piney. Dry moderate bitter. Fine lingering bitter finish. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

ClubGonzo (5668) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUN 24, 2016
Can. Pours a slightly hazy light amber body with a medium creamy off-white head. Nose is rose water, peaches, apricot, soapy herbs and hints of caramel, pine and resin. Taste is pine, caramel, red fruits, resin and hints of bitter herbs, red berries and grapefruits. 6 Medium body and carbonation. A decent, pretty straight-forward American IPA from Mikkeller, with no big surprises.
