1/15/11. Bottle shared by blazer06 at the Sea Bass tasting. Yeasty sweet dark fruit aroma with a very sweet, almost sour flavor loaded with dark fruits, molasses, and more. Nice! Ibrew2or3 (8808) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JAN 23, 2011
Tasted at the big “SeaBass has got to go” tasting courtesy Blazer06. It pours hazy copper with gold edges and off white head. It has a sweet dark fruity aroma with sweet black currants and blackberry to go along with chocolate, a sense of molasses and heat at the end of the draw. The taste is similar with rich dark fruitiness mixing with molasses, muted smooth spicy yeast, rich sweet black currants, tart currant skins and then thin boozy molasses pleasingly coating the palate into the finish. There’s only a slight sense of the ABV. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - JAN 17, 2011
Thanks to blazer06 for the share at the So Long to Sea Bass Tasting. While I can’t write in French, I hope I can do proper justice in English. Pours red-orange with a nice whitish head. Nose is some sugar, dates, dark fruit, candy, and Belgian yeast character. Flavor does not lend itself to Belgian yeast as much as its namesake, but the impact is still there. Dates, candy sugar, fruit, and esters all appear. Finish lingers with sugar and yeast in this medium-bodied beer. sebletitje (10282) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JAN 16, 2011
Bottle @ Seabass going away party, Jan15th ’11. Huge cheers to Blazer06 for opening this ’07 gem.
Bottle. Many thanks to Fredrik for this one. Pours a pale brownish amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity yeasty dark fruit aroma. Sweetish malty dark fruit and caramel flavor with some yeasty hints. Has a sweetish malty dark fruit finish.

Bottle at Kiin Kiin beer vs wine
Thanks to Mikkel for pulling out this rarity for the event. Its dark amber with a minimal off white head. Lots of caramel malt in the aroma, along with grain, wood, berries and a very distinct spearmint aroma. The more i sniffed the more it somehow reminded me about after eight. Thick rich sweet flavor with a minor tartness. Incredible well rounded and well "hidden" alchohol which in the end brought alot to the dish. A Mes rate: bottle in Kobenhaven thanks to those very good folks at Mikkeller.joergen (28949) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 5, 2009
I was very very lucky to get a hefty sample of this. Lucky because of its rarity, even luckier because it was absolutely mind blowing. Looking back over my notes I can remember it clear as day. We had already had many incredible beers that day but this stood out from the crowd. Rich dark amber with an impressive off white head that lasts really well. Damn, this is proper stuff. A convincing clone for certain but it has more. It also has the feel of something that has been aged a little. A faint sourness creeps in at the sides and creates a tunnel of love for all the fanfunkingtastic sweet fruity malt to fall into. Lots of christmas spice and a hit of incredible pineapple and other fruit. Alcohol is noticable but utterly lovable. The yeasty notes are sublime and creates a glorious creamy mouthfeel. Loads of body, complexity is through the roof and in general, just an all round stunner of a beer. Amazing, amazing, amazing.
Bottle at Kiin Kiin.
