Aroma: Sweet syrupy/toffee/burnt sugar, dried fruit like raisin and figs, vinous, woody and spicy. Very nice.
Taste: Sweet, spicy/peppery, syrup/caramel, figs, wood, some yeast, a bit hot but pretty good.
Palate: Big, oily, soft, sticky.
Overall: I know Danko doesn’t approve, but I thought it was pretty good. ;-)
Backlog bottle thanks to so many good ratebeerians. The smell is boozy, alcohol, wood, dusty, and nice. The look is cloudy, muddy brown in color, and no head. The taste is sweet, booze, wood, and carrots. madmitch76 (24980) - , Essex, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2013

Bottle. Pours red-brown with a small head. Notes of dried fruits, figs, yeast, spices (saffron?). Not as balanced as the original Stille Nacht, but a nice winter warmer. thewolf (12630) - Kolding, DENMARK - AUG 29, 2012
Bottle, bought @ Mikkeller Bar, Cph. Clear amber red with a staying, frothy off-white head. Aroma is wonderful, vinious, fat caramel, raisins, a soft bit of chocolate. Low carbonation, lovely creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is elegant, caramel, toasted, soft chocolate, raisins, vinious, warming. Light spiciness towards the end. Very close to the original. And as great as that. mar (5423) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUL 6, 2012

Bottle at Mikkeller Bar. Deep ruby liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of raw sugar, toffee, fruity esters, rep apples, caramel and Cachaça. Very reminiscent of the original Stille Nacht. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of raw sugar, caramel and toffee. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Very well made clone, similar to the original BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAY 29, 2012
Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a hazed, somewhat muddy brown hued body with a small tan head. Aromas are sweet, biscuity, nougat like, some floral honey, esters (apple, mild prune), leather. Flavors are quite caramelized, some prunes, bready malt, alcohol, dried peaches, dates. Lots of esters. Warming, if not a bit hot, even at this age. Sticky mouthfeel, medium bubbles, viscous, lightly tart. Good yeast complexity.
