Unclear deep red with a tiny pinkish head. Loads of lacto hits the nose along with sour cherries. Sour flavour with loads of lacto, sour cherries and a sour burn in the throat. A bit one dimensional but ok. Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 14, 2009
Hand bottle. Pours completely opaque deep red with a small reddish head - looks like blackcurrant juice. Intense fruit and acetone aroma. Medium body, lots of cherries but never cloingly sweet, the massive acetic sourness wipes anything out. The acetone really makes you cough! Very extreme in a pleasant way! 141109 MiP (15972) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - NOV 14, 2009
Handbottled. Nice sour aroma, some paint thinner, but a clean paint thinner. Deep dark red, almost purple colour, no head. Looks a bit like blood or paint. Very sour flavour, nicely sweet with a good fruit note. The finish is vinegary with a bit of paint thinner in the finish, less pleasant than in the aroma. Burns quite a lot in the back of my throat. yespr (47506) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - NOV 14, 2009
Handbottled, courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours hazy to murky dark reddish with no head - looks terrible. Aroma is solid acetone and acidic. Sweet cherry fruity with a distinct sourish note and dry acetone touch into the main flavour. Quite marzipan and sweetish flavoured with a solid acetone burn in the finish. Ends dry and lingering fruity. Theis (15151) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 13, 2009
Draught at Ølbutikken. Murkey purple - purple/brown edges. vinegar, balsamic, cherry, rubber, leather, smooth, citrus, tartness, light sour taste - high sharp/sour finish, marzipan, light candy. Lox carbonation.

quite sour and fresh cherry aroma, some vineagra tart sting to it. clear and crisp, quite extreme.
flavor is very sour but cherry sweetness backs it up very well, vineagra notes in the end, vineagra like sourness adds to a great balance. Very sour, quite extreme. no stable or other for me disturbing flavors good fruity balance. Bullit (4686) - Buffalo, New York, USA - NOV 11, 2009

On tap @ 1st BBF, de Molen. The aroma has cherries and tartness. hazy, red cloured beer with a thin, off-white head. The taste is very sour and tart, quite fruity (cherries). Lingers and lingers. A bit too much. thewolf (12795) - Kolding, DENMARK - NOV 7, 2009

Pours deep purple-pink with a small, pink film head. Super tart aroma, lots of fresh cherries and a soft malty base. Very little sweetness, though. Highish carbonation with a good drying mouthfeel. Flavour is tart, lots of cherries, lactic acid and light citric. Gives me a bit too much heartburn, so that detracts. Nowhere near balanced, but I suppose that ain’t the purpose. Still fairly impressive.
UPDATED: NOV 8, 2009 A Mes rate. Draught at 1st Borefts Beer Festival.
An excellent cloudy red brown colour. The aroma is so dry it makes me short for breath. The flavour is so acidic and dry with a proper tart burn on the way down. Some how at the same time, it’s just so incredibly juicy. It coats the mouth thoroughly yet it’s not at all sticky. Unreal length. All the acidity subsides leaving some utterly gorgeous sour cherries that seem to last for months after the swallow. Amazing stuff. More acidic than the recent Hanssens but somehow it remains really drinkable. Genius stuff Mikkel.
