Bottle. Pours dark brown, with almost no head at all. Aroma is oak, balsamic vinegar brett, and sweet berries and cherries. Flavour is an oaky sour with lots of fruit as apples and cherries, giving an almost sweetly balsamic and fruity finish. A pleasant surprise! ngeunit1 (1555) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 10, 2013

T - Sour cherries, sweet caramel and dark caramel malts, candi and brown sugar, vanilla, funkiness, some spices, Brett, acidity, and some booze.
M - Medium bodied with mild carbonation. Smooth with a sweet, sour, and warming finish.
D - A bit off balanced and rough. The flavors do not quite come together. kappldav123 (6163) - GERMANY - FEB 6, 2013
Thanks to yespr for that one. Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Starts quite sour, intense fruity notes of cherries. Finish less sour, also some sweet notes in the background. But a bit unbalanced and so not too drinkable. Had better Mikkellers. Parket (586) - Bruges, BELGIUM - JAN 14, 2013
bottle from dranken Geers, dark reddish coloured with very small white head. Cherry, woody smell. Taste: maybe some great fruity cherry .. Ooh, I didn’t expect such a good one! Why are they retired? allanbowers (93) - melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JAN 13, 2013
Pours with almost no head. Pours a cloudy reddish brown. This is quite a strange taste, though not unpleasant. Doesnt feel like a 10 percent beer.

Cloudy red brown beer, residual off white head. Light palate, semi dry. Moderate carbonation. Tart medicinal toned Worcester Sauce! Some paradoxical sweet notes. A little cherry underneath. Finishes dry with a lingering tart aftertaste. Very drinkable.
500 ml bottle poured a clear reddish amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of apple cider vinegar, carmel and light toffee. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a lightly tart finish. Flavors of carmel, toffee, apple cider vinegar and cinnamon with a crisp dry lightly tart lingering funky spiced finish.
Syrlig fruktaroma. Gjæret kirsebær. Smaken veldig fruktig. Litt syrlig. Avslutter svakt bittert. pentaz (1293) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 2, 2013
Bottle. Pours hazy red amber with a minimal off white head. Aroma is caramel malt, butterscotch, balsamic, funk, over ripe fruits, acetone and oak.
Taste is moderate sweet and sour. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Finishes with a balsamic sour burn deep in the throat. The most sweet sour I’ve had so far I think. NBird (626) - Perth, West Australia, AUSTRALIA - DEC 29, 2012
Have tried 3 of these now, pours dark ruby amber colour, minimal head. Smells funky with sour dark fruits and vinegar. tastes sour cherry fruity up front, some roasted flavours and really tart throughout. A good smelly cheese beer.
