Color is orange-brown, a bit hazy. The aroma is (wine) vinegar, oak and has a light maltyness. Tingling to the mouth, taste has lots of oak, some wine vinegar, dark fruits and a light malty sweetness in the end. A very nice sour ale, but might be a bit of an acquired taste.

Bottle. Light to moderate grain and bread for the malt, moderate grass for the hops, moderate musty and funky for the yeast, with sour cherry, red grape skin and damp wood in the background. Head is small, wispy, off-white with some spotty and slippery lacing and is almost fully diminishing. Color is hazy rust with some dark crumbs on the bottom. Flavor starts moderately to heavily acidic, sour and acetic, then finishes moderately acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a lively carbonation and a dry and tart finish. A drinkable Wild Ale, but it has a lot of rough edges for me.

Bottle from summer santa koelschtrinker, many thanks! Pours hazy chestnut brown with a thin off white head. Aroma of balsamic vinegar, berries, wood, herbs. Taste follows with light lactic notes, sweet apples, red fruit. Heavy sour, quite sharp really, fairly sweet, slick texture, alcohol completely hidden.

Different but an acquired taste. Sour vinegar and fruit aroma. Cloudy copper color. Weighty palate with a certain tart finish. Flavors of sourness, vinegar, spice and Belgian yeast. Malt was bready and hops low. Funky.

500ml bottle (great label!). Pours muddy brown with a small stable eggshell white head. Rather incongruous aromas of tart sour cherries, red wine vinegar, Trappist-style yeasts, warming alcohol and sweet caramel malts. Taste is initially quite sour with the sweetness of the quad-style malts gradually emerging on the mid to late palate. It is more sour than sweet though it becomes sweeter as it warms in the glass. Mouthfeel is fullish and slick. An interesting take on a hybrid quad/sour beer.

UPDATED: SEP 19, 2015 "started out a bit all over the place with something a little off in the aroma, and a little in the flavor. but that faded, and what was left was indeed similar to the classic Rodenbach sweet and sour, but to the extreme. Almost a berry-like sweetness and extreme sourdough taste. Vinegary on the nose. Acidic, but a super soft palalte. This one really grew on me. Cant remember what I paid. Im sure it was too high, but its a nice one timer for sure. Maybe a buddyll pick up another :)"

Rich brown colour, hardly any head. Very sour almost blows your head off on first sip, intense sour flavours with mild fruit, corresponding sips are much more pleasant, impressive balance, very interesting beer.
