Draft at Mikkeller Bar in Seoul. Deep red, dark colour and sticky thin head. Aroma of spice and the bourbon. Tender palate starts, spicy dark malts taste like coffee and another one of yeasts. And finishes with following flavour of yeasts and the bourbon, not strong. Pretty good. tom10101 (6134) - Quebec, CANADA - APR 5, 2015

Appearance: Dark brown with a medium brown head and little lacing.
Aroma: Cocoa, bourbon, spicy/chili notes, light vegetal presence and roasted malts.
Taste: Light to moderate acidic presence. Cocoa, anise, bourbon, chili and cinnamon.
Palate: Medium body. Medium carbonation. Warming finish from the chipotle chilis that gives the impression that the beer has a much higher abv.
Overall: Good spicy porter that is drinking like an Imperial Porter. Tasty. Decent balance considering the adjuncts. I liked it.
Pours black with medium beige head. Good lacing. Aroma is of coffee, roasted malt, chocolate. Taste is of acidity, roasted malt, spices, alcohol, warming chipotle. Palate: Full bodied. Soft carbonation. Slightly burning. Overall: OK. Quite spicy/hot. JulienHuxley (5843) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 28, 2015

375 ml bottle. Pours an opaque, dark brown with a huge, frothy, brown head that laces. Rich chocolate aroma with roasted malt, oak and a hint of chili. Sweet flavour of chocolate, roasted malt, bourbon, oak, lighter notes of chili, vanilla and smoke with a subtle warming alcohol finish. Full body with a creamy, oily texture and soft carbonation. A well balanced, excellent brew. bursprak (3219) - Aarhus, DENMARK - FEB 8, 2015
Bottle split 3 ways. Pitch black pour with a a small tan head. Lots and lots of dark chocolate, some vanilla, light soy sauce, cocoa powder and some light licorice. Didn’t get any chili hat though. markextrae (4424) - Alingsås, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - DEC 6, 2014
shared bottle. poured a dark murky brown colour with a tanned head. roasted malts, chocolate, chili pepper, peppers, caramel, some vanilla and oak hints, even a bit more heat as it warms up. pretty full bodied beer for the 6.6% abv radiomgb (2686) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 23, 2014
Black in colour, very thin tan head, light lacing.
Aroma of chocolate, liquorice, light peppery spice.
Flavour is of light pepper, some dark chocolate, some smoke.
Thin mouthfeel, some spice, light body, mild carbonation.
Finishes with some peppery spice, long.
Weaker body then expected after the fantastic aroma, still quite good though. RexTalionis (3775) - FINLAND - OCT 19, 2014
Bottle. Black in color with a tan head, looks nice alright. Upfront you get some wooden oak, bit of vanilla, campfire, roasted malty chococolate and spicy pepppers in aroma. Dark chocolate, bit of green vegetable notes, some hints of bourbon and little bit of burning pepper in taste. Feels a lot heavier than one could imagine from the abv. Bit of earthyness and more of smokey chili burning notes in the end. One of the porters I’ve had in a while for sure.
