Zapach intensywny, paloność, czekolada, kakao, suszona papryka, przyprawy. Kolor czarny, nieprzejrzyste. Piana beżowa, średnio obfita, drobna, trwała, zdobi szkło. W smaku umiarkowana słodycz, średnia pełnia, czekolada, kakao, lukrecja, paloność, suszone owoce, chili. Goryczka niska, wysycenie niskie.

UPDATED: APR 14, 2018 Cold coffee and chocolate. Some licorice. The spice needs some looking for at first, but builds up. Glorious combination.

Black color. Pours with thick light brown head. Aroma is very sweet, a lot o coffee, bit earthy, some kakao. Taste at the beginning is bit sweet, then comes prober bitternes and it get spicy, very spicy. Taste is as the arome beside the spicyness. Drinkable but too much chili for my taste.

Bottle at home. Pours black with a medium sized tan head. Aroma has cocoa and coffee. Taste has chocolate, bitter coffee and a touch of chilli pepper. Quite nice.

Black pour with a single finger espresso head. Not a ton of aroma, just a hint of peppers and a little chocolate. Lively carbonation. Chocolate and a hint of spice. Lingering spiciness with a slightly coppery note from the black malt. That coppery note is not overbearing, which is good. Rich, creamy body. No lace.

November 2017 - Bottle share in Hackney. Big thanks to Kenny. As 'Mikkeller Texas Ranger'. An aged bottle with the original branding (Mikkel in a cowboy hat). Opaque black with a foamy brown head that leaves dotted lacing. Aroma is pretty chocolatey – chocolate sauce and cocoa powder. Body is light and smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is chocolate covered berries, parma violet, salty, chilli heat is soft. Seems like the age has really integrated the flavours. Nice stuff. (8-4-8-3-16=3.9)

Aroma; roasted malts, nuts, herbs n spices, liquorice. Look; pale brown head, black body. Taste; roasted malts, chilipepper (chipotle), herbs n spices, chocolate, coffee, nut, and finishes peppery spicy. Feel; solid body, very peppery, soft co2.
