Draught @ Orsted Olbar, Norre Farimagsgade 13, 1364 Copenhagen, Denmark.
Clear dark black color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, burnt, coffee, iodine, smoke, moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long duration, smoked, chili - alcohol burn finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft to flat. IMO a bit tomuch chili burn, result is that the beers is not easy to drink ... [20100410]

Bottle as Chipotle Porter. Nearly black, brown head. Aroma of smoke. Peppers really overwhelm the beer, to the point that you need antacids. The BA version is much better.

Opaque black beer. Frothy brown head. Smoked chilli pepper nose. Softish palate. Sweet creamy dark malt. Well blended smoked roasted chilli peppers. Tangy with a nice blooming warmth that is just about right and doesn’t blow your head off! Sublte fruit, well buried. Thought this would be a stinker - so pleasantly wrong!

Draught at Copenhagen Beer Festival. Very black with beige head. Asphalt aroma.Chocolate and caramel coms first, chili heat joins later, coffee liesin the background. Sweet with fairly hard mouthfeel. The chili burn crashes with the roastiness. Not one bit pleasant I’m afraid.
