Pikkie zwart met een mooie bruine kraag. Ruikt geroosterd, koffie en hop. Smaakt kruidig, pepertje, gerookt, koffie. Heerlijk. Geweldig bier en dat voor 6,6%.

Thick black pour with a creamy brown head. Aroma of chili peppers, chocolate and espresso. Flavor is great chocolate and roasty espresso with a bit of the peppers coming through. Awesome.

I’m no stranger to spicy food, but in my beer? This could most certainly be a new favorite flavor of mine now. The pour was dark with a thin, bubbly brown head. The aroma was chalk full of spice and dark chocolate. It seemed almost like a daunting task at first to try and sip the beer, but once I dove in I pretty much loved it. Has a spicy start to it then switches gear over to chocolate. A pretty outstanding beer.

330 mL bottle. Pours stout brown with as dark a head as I’ve ever seen. The head persists and laces nicely. A rare 5. Nothing particularly noteworthy about the aroma - it smells like a stout. But the use of the chipotle in the flavour is perfect - you get the heat, which balances the bitter roast beautifully, without the vegetal note you often get with this style. The heat also fills out the body. Very well done.

750 ml bottle. Pours black with a thick, resilient beige head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, hot peppers. Flavor is chocolate, ash, coffee. Finish is woody, smokey, meaty and very, very spicy. Medium to strong body, very velvety mouthfeel, weak to average carbonation. Very hot, very tasty.
