Bottle from Kris Wines, London. Poured thin and dark brown / black with a velvet-brown head that exploded with roasted coffee malt aromas. Taste was long and complex and ran through sweet cameral to bitter coffee with a spike of chipotle chili in the middle that tingled the tongue then slowly faded from the palette. Awesome beer. crbolesta (10) - Maryland, USA - NOV 11, 2012
Color is thick, dark, uniform. Looks like motor oil (with this it’s a good thing!). Aroma is strong with coffee and unsweetened dark chocolate. Once it hits the palate is has a beautifully well-rounded smoky spiciness to it. Chipotle lingers throughout the chocolatey finish, which is fulfilling and robust while remaining smooth. Very little head, dark as night, and delicious. Trolleo (1540) - Pula / Zagreb, CROATIA - AUG 13, 2014
UPDATED: JUN 29, 2016 Body is completely dark, huge tan head. Aroma is dark chocolate, vanilla, hops, roasted malt, caramel. A bit smokey. Medium to full body, flat to soft carbonation. Finish is long coffee bitter and spicy, followed by a pleasant tingling; this is where chilli first appears. Just wonderful!

Pitch black body, small brown head. Aroma of spices, coffee, roasted malt and some grass. Refreshing taste, chocolate at first, than some chili. Soft carbonation, medium body, bit creamy. Very nice, but I?m not sure this is the same thing as Texas Ranger two years ago. azzie (822) - Pula, CROATIA - AUG 28, 2014
Bottle. Thick very dark liquid with tan unsteady head. Minimal sweetness, medium bitterness. Intensive aroma of chocolate with 90% of cocoa. Cocoa in taste, a bit of smoke and chilli peppers. Great one. One of my favorites. IloveIPAs81 (59) - - JUL 23, 2015

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2016 Bottle as "Mikkeller Chipotle Porter". Pours opaque black with huge thick dark brown head. Aroma is intense hopy with notes of spruce, bitter grapefruit, pomelo but also lots of campfire smoke and beech smoked meat with notes if gravy, beef stock, soy sauce and shrimp paste underneath. Taste is medium sweet, medium to very bitter, faint acidic, medium umami and light salty. Body is creamy with soft carbonation. Finish is very long with notes that follow the nose plus a warm touch of chili and notes of dark chocolate, espresso, mint and yogurt. Rich and perfectly balanced. Velvet black pour with caramel head. Smokey and caramel with bitter chocolate and spice on the palate. A rich and warming beer with the chilli factor slowly building at the back of the throat and in the stomach. rockana (301) - Zadar/Zagreb, CROATIA - JUL 26, 2014
Pours dark dark oily brown with average brown head. Roasted malts, hops, smokey, dark chocolate. Full body. Very tasty, full, smokey, creamy beer. Samtzu (418) - Palmerston North, NEW ZEALAND - FEB 25, 2016
330ml bottle. Was not expecting this beer to be what it is. Fantastic beer with prominent vanilla and coffee notes tangled in with Chilli. Potentially diminished chilli flavors due to age.

cafecito con sorpresa al final, una cerveza que bebida bien atemperada puede ser brutal con ese picor final en la garganta!
