Bottled at Henrik, Bergen. Pours black with a big frothy brown head. Aroma of port, sweet light peated roasted malts, wood and some acidic fragrances as well. Taste is dark bitter malts with a nice chili bite at the end, ends bitter with a mix of alcohol and hot chili burn. Lovely stuff.

I really enjoyed this beer, and I like spicy food and drinks, but I cannot imagine drinking an entire bottle of this myself. The peppers begin to stick in your throat. Otherwise I would have a higher rating.

Bottle shared at Paul and Ryans 5,000th rate tasting. Pours near black with a tan head. Roasted malty aroma, with some peppery notes. and smoky coffee notes. The flavor has roasted malts up front, some light sweetness and a burning peppery finish. The heat isnt too intense, but its definitely there. Nice.

Big smokey chocolate nose with a little it of burn. Smooth up front, but the chipotle spice catches you on the tail end . Finishes like a black permanent marker.

Shared by Sparky at RBWG. Its chuck norris in a bottle, so if I rated it poorly I wouldnt be alive to rate this. Luckily it poured a dark brown with aroma of spices, coffee and chocolate. Flavor is choco-spices, coffee, and peppers integrate well with the brew. Thanks Eric!

A tall, long lasting tan head rises out of this black bodied brew. Rich aroma of cocoa, coffee with some smoke. The flavor follows the aroma with a peppery, slightly hot finish. Very well done pepper beer! Ill have another one of these!

A great porter, with imperial stout thickness, chocolate, mollases, spicy peppers in the finish. Complex, carbonation right there. Masterful.

Bottle at home. Pitch black coloured with a huge brown head. Roasted aroma of dark chocolate, chili pepper and coffee. Roasted flavour of dark chocolate, chili pepper and coffee. Roasted and burning finish of coffee and chili pepper. Nice beer, but too much pepper.

Rating #12 from danish beer festival 2010. Black sticky look with a dark brown head. Sweet honey in the aroma along with roasted malt notes. Bitter roasted flavors with a clear chili finish. As expected which was nice.
