UPDATED: AUG 7, 2014 Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pours pitch black with a pretty thin, brown head. Aromas of pretty sweet chili, chocolate and leather. Pretty stale-like. Tastes of sweet chili but also a good burned chocolate-like and liquorice taste. Good burned malt. markoijelena (3147) - Belgrade / Amsterdam, SERBIA - JUN 21, 2014

Pours very dark brown with a thin creamy brown head. Aroma is strongly roasted, smoke, smell slightly herbal. Chilli is barely perceptible behind the smoke and bitterness. GlasgowTAD (1874) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - JUL 20, 2014

330ml bottle, half poured in a chili, half drunk. Appears black with fast receding beige head. Aroma of roasted malts and a touch of chipotle. Taste is smooth, faintly tangy, not as much chili as I was expecting.. some coal and rich malts. In the chili it really underpined the richness of the meat with its porter like malt character. For a chili porter this was quite smooth and drinkable. Spab (4002) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 25, 2014
330 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours an opaque ultra dark brown with average tan head. Aroma is quite roasty with coffee, chocolate, some herbal hops and a little chilli pepper. Flavour starts like a stout or black IPA with lots of roasty cocoa and coffee as well as some herbal hops, but has some real chilli heat at the back end. Finishes hot. Silky body. Impressive although I do find these hot beers ones I like only in moderation. shaynsawchuk (681) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 2, 2014
330 mL bottle. Black with a khaki head that holds well. Roasty malt and chile pepper on the nose combining together in a smoky pimenton-esque fashion. Light chile heat with a definitive tobacco smoke earth tone, roasted peppers, caramel sweetness, coffee, cinnamon and chocolate. Moderate plus body with similar carbonation. Lightly sweet but balanced with load of roast. Subtle and nuanced, enjoyed way more than I anticipated. jksipa (1004) - Newmarket, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 17, 2014
Bottle from the LCBO, Brown almost black pour with a small dark brown head. Nose is dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, roasted malts and some spice. The roasted malts are the dominant theme providing a light sweet and medium bitter tone from start to finish with a a significant amount of heat and smokiness coming from the peppers lingering on the finish. Medium slick mouth with soft carbonation. Interesting, but not as outstanding as i expected. motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - NOV 22, 2014
on tap at mikkeller and friends. rich jet black with a dark brown head; aroma hints at grilled red peppers, bitter chocolate, coffee; plenty of heat which works well with some roastiness, hints of stonefruit and caramel sweetness. good stuff
