Cloudy amber body with a decent beige head. Strong aroma of citrus, dark dried fruits, brown sugar and some caramel. Rather boozy and strong flavour of citrus, spices and dark dried fruits. Very sweet taste followed by rather heavy bitterness. Full body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation. A bit too boozy, but a nice one.

0.75l bottle, thanks Hrvoje for sharing this with us! Murky golden/orange body with a white head. Dusty caramel aroma, light touch of orange. Heavy sweet malty body, slightly dusty, that actually ended up being enormously helped by the orange notes from the Grand Marnier barrel. It gave more complexity to the beer, and, somehow, even freshness and a lighter, more palatable body that raises this way above the sugar bomb that the original is. Only light alcohol presence for the ABV. Great job!

70cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - thanks a lot. Golden looking, slighly hazy, not too much head to speak of, but fair enough. Fruity and malty aroma with hoppy notes, caramel and hints of citrus and spices. Medium sweet with caramel, malt and citrus. Fairly tasty, but nice enough, I guess it would be nicer fresh. Decent brew.

On bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika october 2014 release. Hazy golden color, good foam. Medium/high aroma intensity; caramel, toffee, hops and some fruitiness . Quite high viscosity. Medium / full body & complexity . Quite high immediate sweetness, high bitterness- ends up a little sweet. Very enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a dark brown, slightly unclear beer with a big, off white head on top. Aroma is vinous, boozy with oaky touches and a faint hint of oranges. Flavour is sweet and strong, the Grand Marnier hits in the back alongside some heavy alcohol heat. Subtle fruity notes, a bit slight bit unbalanced but certainly not messy. Good stuff.

(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with lasting, beige head, leaving traces of lacing. Malty, fruity, vinous nose with motes of dried fruit, caramel, orange peel, hints of cinnamon and touch of wood. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, dried fruit, orange peel, hints of brandy, spices, wood and vinous flavours of Grand Marnier in a finish with a balanced bitterness. Full body, fairly sweet. Rounded mouthfeel with warming alcohol shining through. Possibly not perfectly balanced, but really tasty. Very nice.
