Clear light yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, toasted, hay, light to moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, smoke - rubber ! and also butter ! Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy golden orange with a huge, dense and almost fully white head. Mild citrusy fruity, butterish and slight yeasty aroma. Distinct sulphorish touch to a distinct bitter hoppy base flavour. Light citrusy note and vague butterish. Going into a dry and quite bitter finish. Nice and classic bohemian pils yet with an edge. Draft. A light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of hops and butter, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Lacks hops in my opinion. joergen (29353) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 16, 2009

Bottled. Golden colour, huge foamy white head. Aroma is a bit grassy and bready malty along with mild herbal notes. Flavour is dry grassy and bready malty along with some herbal and mild rubbery notes as well. Travlr (26198) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - OCT 31, 2009
Maybe my expectations were too high after tasting the real stuff in Prague and Lazhne Bodanic. This one was cloudy straw colored with a large white head that formed a plateau - so far, so good. Not much lacing. Almost no aroma. Tasted of wet plaster, neither malt nor hops dominated, it just fell flat. Disappointing. omhper (25802) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 27, 2009
Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Lightly hazy palegolden, airy head. Fruity, soapy orangy nose. Dryish and well hopped with clean mouthfeel. Very hop aromatic, but with a whiff of ruber. With it’s hard mouthfeel and fruitiness it tastes more of a golden ale than a Czech pils. madmitch76 (25801) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 2, 2012
26th October 2009 Papsoe (25055) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 24, 2009
Hazy gold beer with a frothy white head. Light semi dry palate. Light and pleasantly fruity fruity hop. Mild orange and even milder grapefruit. Even malt. Moderate carbonation. Decent Pils!
On tap. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Sweetish butter aroma with a whiff of flowery hops. Medium body, malty with some flowery hoppiness - and a whiff of smoke?? The finish is dry and hoppy. The butter and smoke accents seem odd indeed, and I believe this requires a re-rate. 150509
