smooth and a bit slick with mild carbonation that is soft. Fresh aroma and flavor of malt just from the Farm and a nice American style hop of Grapefruit and Pine that is just under the surface and pronounced until the finish. Good full body and light alcohol with mild sweetness delivered fresh at the Rattle and Hum NYC.

One definately tastes the product of the yeasts work in this beer. A rich malty taste, and phenolics on the tongue as one would expect with this style. Well worth a pint.

At the farmers cabinet with eli. Toasty but funky vinegar aroma. Taste is cherry, vinegar... Characteristics of a sour ale but lightens in the mouth before it gets too aggressively sweet or tart. Interesting and fun to drink.

Tap at Paradiso Dupont. Pours a hazy pink rose with a yellowish tan head settling in with minimal density. Nice sticky lace remains by the grace of God. The aroma on this is just off- unpleasant funkiness like acetone and paint thinner with a hefty dose of older cheesy hops. Lots of strawberry pancake syrup in the nose typical of old DIPA. Taste is sweaty and salty with something like cranberry skin tannins and tree bark creating some unwanted bitterness. Body is syrupy, strawberry heavy, earthy and sickly bitter, with a finale of acetone. Almost unpalatable. My impression of this beer is that Mikkel took one of his De Proef DIPA recipes and decided to spike with Brett at the end. This keg has zero Brett presence in a good way and rather gained acetone, nail polish, sweat, and off-character while retaining the old DIPA character.

Draft. Pour is hazy amber with a yellow/off-white head. Aroma is big pine/citrus hops, a bit of brett must, caramel. Flavor is intense citrus/pine hops, some breadiness, no brett. Palate is chalky, bitter.

Pour copper orange pillowy off white head absurd lacing. Aroma hops, sweet malt, American IIPA aroma, caramel, touch sour. Taste big American hops, grapefruit, citrus fruit, spicy yeast, touch of dark fruit. MF medium body nice carb. Overall an amazing blend of Belgian with an American IIPA awesome stuff.

Hazy darkish amber beer. Dry palate with a soft, almost creamy edge. Frothy in the mouth. Rich peppery hops deliver bitterness but not overly aggressive. Slightly aniseedy finish.

10/11/11/10/7/11

Keg at BrewDog Edinburgh. Pours hazy copper with orangey highlights. Aroma is banana and marmalade with some light candy hops. Taste is malty and sweet. Almost sickly but not quite. Finish is spine-tingling bitter. Really interesting beer, but I personally prefer Beer Hop Breakfast from this session.
