UPDATED: MAR 30, 2016 pours unclear medium dark golden, bright orange, with a nice creamy off-white head offering some lacing too. band aid bretts, very spicy oranges, candied oranges, pickled apricots wit cloes; pot-pourri, lots of piney booze, assertive herbal-resinous hops, wild strawberry fruitiness as well, lots of pepper and peppers also. moderate carbonation, medium body; warming, spicy bittering resinous finish. some complexity - akin to others from same series - yet a US-like harshness prevails. still nice.

A great aroma, hoppy like a session pale ale with notes of apricot, caramel and fruit. Pours a hazy reddish brown color, tan well laced head. A complex taste, floral, caramel, a hint of malt and hops. Medium body, finish is a chalky flowery finish.

Bottle (330 ml) at home. Clear orangey-golden, borderline copper, with a medium off-white head, moderate retention, leaving little lacing. Aroma is of citrusy hops, piney notes, leathery brettanomyces, Belgian yest and caramel notes. Taste is piney and citrusy with moderate leathery brettanomyces presence, caramel, yeasty presence and medium bitterness. Medium body. Medium carbonation. A bit oily mouthfeel. Bitter finish that is borderline harsh. A generic Mikkeller Brett + hops beer. Not bad, but nothing to see here. Bitterness takes too much place for my liking. Ok.
