Draft to taster at Ei8ht Ball from notes. Pours a slightly hazy orange amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, caramel, banana, cloves, a hint of citrus, yeast, decent enough.

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona. On tap at Mikkeler Bar. Deep golden colour. Sweetish aroma of banana and caramel, hints of cloves. Pleasant flavour, not too sweet, again with notes of rich wheat malts, banana, caramel and cloves. I really liked this one, will buy again if I find the bottle somewhere.

9th July 2016: on-tap at Mikkeller Bar Barcelona with the RBESG guys. Dark old gold in colour, on top an off white-head. Nose had vanilla, banana and malty molasses: taste followed along the same lines, fairly sweet and malty. Good alcohol bite in the flavour also. Decent.

Maakun (5589) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JUL 12, 2016
Tap at Mikkeller Barcelona. Dark clear golden, off white head. Banana, caramel, sweet malts, some toffee. Over medium sweet. Over medium bodied. Decent bock, though nothing too special.

phfyysik (1275) - Tartu, ESTONIA - MAY 15, 2016
Pours mild hazy amber with thick white foam. Aroma is wheat, white bread, croissant, fruits, flour, some citrus, straws. Taste is soft, flour, cream, white bread with butter, some cocoa oil, fruits, flour. Leaves mouth very oily and a bit like you just eat pancake batter. ABV is very well hidden and beer is very good!

VamboladeTolly (1993) - Tartu, ESTONIA - APR 13, 2016
Bottle @ Žmogšala3 festival, Vilnius. Pours slightly hazy amber with small white head. Aroma: bananas, yeasty, wheaty, a bit alcoholic. Taste the same as aroma+ some yellow fruits. Sweet finish.

Guruhso (604) - Grindsted, DENMARK - APR 9, 2016
Bottle. Heavy yeasty aroma of banana, gum and cloves. Some malt and hops too. The flavours starts light sweet but finish bitter. The body is medium and the texture is watery. Soft carbonation.

pilsnerrogge (2948) - Finspång, SWEDEN - MAR 26, 2016
Amber color with a slight haze. Creamy head. Yeasty and wheaty aroma with a touch of citrus. Flavour is yeast and wheat leading to a warming, boozy finish.
A touch too boozy for my liking.

Marduk (7695) - Reval, ESTONIA - MAR 11, 2016
330ml bottle (thanks FatPhil). Clear amber color. Medium size, white head, stays. Sweet, strawberries, caramel in aroma. Sweet, strawberries and wheat in taste. Just so damn sweet. Since I’m quite drunk, can’t feel the alcohol. Quite meh Weizen bock.

FatPhil (16102) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 6, 2016
330ml bottle (Alus celle, Riga)
Sticky sweet aroma, taste also sticky sweet. Has a heavy wheatiness. Some almond aspect. Finish sweet, wheaty, and a bit heavy. Normally I really like wizenbocks, but this is too brash, sweet, and heavy. Some alcohol later.
