Draught, Københavnske Øldage 2006. Dark amber and clear. Small whiteish head. Grassy malty aroma. Strong hoppy aroma with grass in the fore. Light sourish nose. Very hoppy flavour and also very alcoholic. Full-bodied and sweet. Typical barley wine flavours, but this one is bold one. Belgo (154) - Køge, DENMARK - MAY 22, 2006
Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2006.
Orange-reddish with a very small head, that disappears quickly.
Sweet fruity aromas of mangoes, papayas, loads of honey and some toffee and, of course, hops galore. The mouthfeel is massive, soft and the alcohol leaves a nice warming afterburn. Very sweet but balanced by the bitterness and the alcohol. Great beer.

[Draught at Købehavnske Øldage] Cloudy amber, no head. Strong aroma of salted lychee. Vast amounts of malt generates a soft, firm mouthfeel as well as some toffee flavours. The bitterness is camouflaged by malt sweetness. Combining Thomas Hardys Ale with a hoppy American barley wine.
