Light aroma of Calvados (somewhat reminiscent of cognac) and lovely fruit rises from the glass. The taste is like port wine with distinctive alcohol and flavor of mandarin, plum and almond. Large vinous fullness with alcohol warming filling and light sweetness in the final. The finish leaves gentle tang of Calvados. A direct hit. tkrjukoff (4335) - SWEDEN - AUG 18, 2013

Copenhagen Beer Fest. Had a few by the time this came out on Saturday. Intense spicy apple nose. Rich malt and more intense spicy apple. Wasn’t capable of more depth by that but the beer was clearly unapologetically Calvedos!
