Copenhagen Beer Festival. Opaque brown - red beer. Sharp and acidic spicy cherry. Very pepperry finish.
Pours a clear dark red. Sweet with lots of kriek and berries. Hints of bikeglue. Uberfull boided, slightly sticky mouthfeel. Big and strong. Very much like Kriekselikroxen. Ungstrup (37284) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 12, 2010
Entered to celebrate my rating number 16,300. Draft. An amber-red beer with no head. The aroma has strong notes of fruit and cherries. The flavor is sweet but at the same time very sour with strong notes of cherries, as well as medium notes of alcohol, almonds, and wood. anders37 (26156) - Malmö, SWEDEN - OCT 24, 2009

Clear dark red color with virtually none head. Aroma is heavy malty, cramel, cherry, wood, tart, sour, medicines notes. Flavor is heavy sweet, acidic and sour with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.
Tap at Copenhagen Beerfestival 09. Hazy purple/dark red color, short head. Aroma of gluhkriek, cardamon, hint of clove, cherry. Very alcoholic taste between the cherries. Tart, too much alcohol, but still I like it. fiulijn (20411) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 3, 2009

Dark brown color. From the aroma to the flavor, it’s a true Oud Bruin, with a perfect mix of sourness, sweetness and fruitness; with some sweet wood, and some glue and alcohol. In the end the sourness is a bit harsher. Really great.
On tap at Copenhagen Beerfestival. It’s a muddy reddish-brown beer without any head. Cherry, sourness, lemons and berries in the aroma. Intensely sour flavor with vinegar, dark berries and fruit, blue plums and lemon. Astringent mouthfeel, sour and tart as hell, really palate cleansing. Lasting sour finish. A quite nice and supertart beer, maybe too much on the sour side. And the alcohol is very well hidden. (090515) OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 19, 2009

øbenhavnske Øldage 2009. Dark ruby brown body. Headless. Strong fruit aroma that reminds me of plum marmelade. Also a scent of cherry stones and some rummy notes. Taste starts sweet plummy before the fruity acidty sets in. Lots of cherries, sour and acidic. Some wodden notes and a certain fruity sweetness is lurking under. Rough on the palate. Yet a balanced and exciting sour ale.
Draught @ Valby 09. Burgundy with nearly no head. Sour aroma with sour fresh cherries, lacto, brett, barnyard, leather and oak. Flavour very vinious had lots of sourness and the following, lacto sour cherries, wood and barnyeard. Serious sour stuff and very vinious. Complexity is enourmous. Excellent!
