Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Fantastyczne piwo, bardzo podobne do Dark Lorda. Gęste, oleiste. Czekolada, ciemne owoce, sos sojowy, melasa. Pyszne.

Milk chocolate, dense, dark fruits, an unbelievably drinkable 16% imperial stout. Big!

Bottle thanks to Douglas. A: OIly black, thin mocha head, and legs. N: Leather, cocoa, tobacco, smoke, biscuit, intense brown sugar, molasses, oxidation, oak, caramel, vanilla, plenty of earth, and some soy sauce. T: Very sweet and smokey. M: Heavy oily body, no alcohol, soft carbonation. O: This is very tasty - and itís what I imagine people think Dark Lord tastes like. Thereís just one thing thatís holding me back from a higher score, but I canít quite put my finger on it.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2016 Bottle. 2013. Pours a cloudy brown with a tiny bubble of head. The aroma is massive sugary dark fruit. Amazing. Smoke, dark fruit essence, sugary hot but so drinkable. Massive smoky dark leather and tobacco. Amazing. The aroma is just so huge. Essence of dark fruit. Much like Expy, which is the best.

June 6, 2016. Bottle at home, vintage 2013.
Black with a minimal brown head. Aroma is sweet, malty, sugary, slight boozy with raisins, prunes, figs, dark sugars, chocolate, alcohol, soy, vanilla, dark berries. Taste is sweet, boozy, slight bitter and salty. Finish is sweet and quite with salty licorice candy, some salty soy notes, sweet dark sugars, caramel, raisins, some milk chocolate, hints of ash, cocoa, blackberries. Full bodied, soft carbonation, oily texture.
Sweet and salty.

Iíve been saving this 2013-bottle for some time. Black and velvet-like. Creamy texture, thick. Amazing aroma with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, sirup. Sweetness and bitterness working great in unison. Almost overwhelming complexity. Best sipped and shared. Might get cloying if enjoyed in larger quantites. One to remember and dream about tasting again.

Bottle: Thanks Jdizzle: Served in a Chouffe glass: 2013 vintage: Black beer with some brown bubbles... Aromas roast, cacoa, chocolate, chocolate milk, toffee, caramel, dust and chalk... Flavours of chocolate, spice, some roast, bitters, cacoa, raisin, brown sugars, chalk, toffee... Aftertaste is bitter, roast, chocolate, spice and brown sugars. Low carbo, watery mouthfeel, more than medium bodied.

Bottle shared: black as night pour, little head or lacing. Aroma is deep dark fruits, char, roast, coffee. Flavor is a touch aggressive - a little too much bitter and charred/burnt grain. It would be better without that as it is almost balanced with sweeter malt and chocolate and bitter coffee, but not quite.

ctipping (1922) - Florida, USA - AUG 31, 2015
375 mL bottle poured into a snifter. 2013 bottle. Originally reviewed 9/8/2014. Black body. No head. A few bubbles. Very leggy. Smells of fudge. Raisins. Deep roast. Booze. Very dynamic stout flavors. Chocolate. Molasses. Fudge. Moves into deep roast. Bitter coffee and some burnt malts. Medium low carbonation. Very heavy and sweet. I was surprised by how good this is. More than just an over-sweet monster of a stout

bursprak (3183) - Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 31, 2015
Bottle shared by me @ 3/4 Dangerous Bottle Shares meets Moules Frites. Pitch black oily pour with small tan lacings. Nose has soy, chocolate and some licorice. Taste is sweet, a bit cloying, savoury notes. Licorice and dark chocolates on the backend.
