Enjoyed some of a 200 mL draft of this beer in a small, arrow wine-type glass at the Mikkeller bar in southwest Copenhagen. The beer had a thick black color with a dark ruby red hue and a small dark tan head that had average retention, and great cling and lacing. Its aroma was a blend of molasses, coffee, and some chocolate, along with grain and herbal notes. The taste was a lightly sweetish blend of coffee, licorice, and herbal notes, that gradually yielded to a more bitter alcohol and licorice taste. It was a thinner beer with a lighter mouthfeel and low carbonation, that had a noticeable alcohol presence and a clingy mouth presence. yespr (46530) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - OCT 5, 2013

Bar, Copenhagen (as Mikkeller Viktoria X Imperial Stout). Black colour, not much head. Aroma is liquorice, some alcohol, mild wooden sourness as well as some slight lactic and toasted notes. Flavour is liquorice, some quite sweet alcoholic notes, mild lactic and milky notes along with some toffee, coffee, mild chocolate and a bit bitter in the finish as well. Balanced, but a bit boozy as for the flavour.
