A hazed golden lambic with a thin white head. In aroma, superb lambic with lactic acid, fruity esters, Epsom salts, very nice and complex. In mouth, a very tart apples, light Brett, sour cream, horse blanket, complex and challenging. On tap at La Fine Mousse as Mikkeller Spontan à L’arbousier.

Draught @ Ølfestival Valby - CBF09, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Unclear hazy light to medium orange red color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy strawberry, tart and sour, toffee - buttery notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy acidic with a long duration, and a dry dry finish. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20090515]

Tap at Copenhagen Beerfestival 09. Hazy orange color, short head. Aroma of strawberry yoghurt, cream. Sour taste, yoghurt, barnyard. Lingering sourness. Strange, but actually quite likeable.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2009
Cloudy orange color; small head. Very strange aroma, strawberries, jam, with bread and butter; very light cheese crust, cobwebs. Aggressive mouthfeel, aggressive sourness, astringent, with strawberry jam, bread (?) and lemon juice, very acidic. Original.

On tap at Copenhagen Beerfestival. A muddy dark orange beer without head. Not looking very attractive. The aroma and flavor is fortunately of a completely different quality, even though this was not a favorite of mine. Funky, lemony nose with overripe strawberries. Very lemony flavor, with some overripe strawberries, borderlining artificial. Tart, astringent and really burning when swallowed. Even though it’s quite nice, it’s way too tart, and I’m not overly fond of the impression the strawberries have had. (090515)

From [email protected]øbenhavnske Øldage 2009. A thin layer of foam covering a hazy orange body with a milky shade. Aroma has a kind of musty and candy-ish strawberry aroma. Superacidic strawberry flavor. Also fresh lemon and citrus zest. Lively mouthfeel. Strong lemony acidity in the finish. A genuine palate cleanser.
