Dark golden/light brown colour with white foam. Aroma of hops and a bit of licorice. Clear licorice in taste, not that good

Wonderful aromas of tropical fruit and mango. Fruity and pretty much licorice flavor. Good bitterness that fills the mouth for a long time. Good and a little special beers. Follow me @ Kung av l @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

0.33 l bottle from Sviejt piva, Zagreb. Shared with Vinja 666 and Tanja 669. Murky orange to amber, lasting creamy off-white head. Medium to heavily hopped, elderberry, basil, honey, biscuit, light dried fruits. Mostly malty with some honey, light bitterness develops in the finish, orange zest. Medium body, medium carbonation, moderate finish. Not bitter enough to be great.

330 ml bottle. Unclear dark golden body with a big, creamy off-white head. Aroma has malt, citric fruit and a hint of pine. Flavor is rather malty with citric fruit, some sweet liquorice and relatively moderate bitterness. Medium body and OK aftertaste. Fair enough.

BlackHaddock (6974) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - NOV 23, 2016
7th Nov 2016: 330ml bottle between four at Chez Sophie, during the Shrewsbury monthly beer share meeting. Cheers Mat. Liquorice rules this brew, becoming stronger as you sipped it. Amber bodied with a white head, it had a semi-sweetness throughout, but overpowered by that liquorice content. I liked it, but i like liquorice.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, oct 16, courtesy of myself! Pours deep amber with good off-white head. Aroma is soft caramel. Taste bears subtle liquorice with more caramel malt coming through. Has a fair sweetness with more liquorice appearing on the finish.
