Draught at Kobehavnske Oldage, May 2006. Soft, pale orange/red colour. Slightly cloudy. Plenty of funky lambic character in the aroma. Quite fruity on the palate but the lambic character is less pronounced than on the nose. I found the alcohol level a bit intrusive and the mouthfeel a touch too boozy for a lambic. Very interesting but not, for me at least, 100% successful.

Fast disappearing, slightly pink head; dark-pink beer with a foxy shine. Lemon, obviously Brettanomyces, fruity, bit of lactic acid, just a bit of leather. Extreme Brett taste initially, going over into cherry wine. Very tart, but lemony aspect gone in the taste; hints of alcohol. Acidburn, dry-out effect, tart, apparent thin body by the acids & alcohol. Very strange brew. More specific Brett-character than any real lambic; and cherry flavour, however natural, seems added rather than blended. Rare & interesting, thanks to Mikkel for providing. [Another century celebrated with a Mikkeller beer - this time 7400] An unclear red beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet combined with acidic notes, as well as wood - very authentic lambic like. The flavor is again a combination of sweet and sour with notes of wood and hints of cherries. Imperial Lambic - nice. MPA (999) - Amager (form. Nørrebro&Aalborg), DENMARK - DEC 4, 2006
Bottle. Red with a longlived white head. Acid, apple and citrus in aroma. Flavour of citrus, fruit with some sweetness. This has gotta be the shortest Mikkeller rating, I’ve ever done. Needs improvement, guys. Nuff said... fiulijn (20516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 16, 2006

Hazy red amber color. Cellar aroma. Very close to Belgian lambics, but softer. It has some fruitness.

Øldage. Smells like a lambic. Smelly barnyard, lemon/grapefuit. Palate is dry, acidic, as it should be. Juicy/puckery. Nice balance, but probably with a touch more alcohol warmth that i’m used to in lambic. Its very good though, and another interesting beer, from this very interesting brewer.
On tap at Cph Beerfestival. Amber, almost clear, without carbonation, and some white bubbles on top. Sour and yeasty aroma with green apples. Quite citric and astringent flavor, with apples and barnyard. No cherries tasted. Tart and astringent mouthfeel, but surprisingly no alcohol, even though it is a bit warming. Not a classic, but an interesting experiment with a pleasant outcome. (060519) anders37 (26641) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JUN 7, 2006
Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2006. Hazy reddish amber colour with a small white head. Sour malty aroma with hints of fruits. Sour acid malty flavor with some hints of cherries. Cherries in a warming aftertaste. Storm (2684) - Amager, DENMARK - JUN 6, 2006
Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2006. Orange reddish colour with a weak head. Light aroma of oak and sourness. Also sour and acidity flavour with notes of cherry but someway very nice endeed. The alcohol is very well hidden. This one make me like lambic, I love it. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 2, 2006
