Belgo (154) - Køge, DENMARK - MAY 22, 2006
Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2006.
Orange and with an off-white head that disappears quickly.
The aroma is classic lambic; tobacco, bretty aromas of horseblanket and some lime.
Quite fullbodied for a lambic, but you don’t sense the alcohol at all. Dry and sour aftertaste. Interestingly, the cherries aren’t really present in any major way - it feels much more like a "plain" lambic than a kriek.
Truly impressive! omhper (25547) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAY 21, 2006
[Draught at Købehavnske Øldage] Clear reddish orange. Tart lactic nose. Very dry with near full body. Some barnyard and citric acid. Authentic lambic flavour, but not as complex as some of the real masterpieces. lachesis (757) - St Idesbald, BELGIUM - MAY 29, 2006
Very hazy amber beer with a slight orange to deep-orange glow. The froth is slight beige and the beer leaves a nice white lacing on the glass. Aroma is refreshing, crisp and grassy. It has aroma’s of goosberries, rubarbe Greek youghurt, blood-oranges and some ripe strawberries. The taste is again crisp, nobel sourish with a lactic carracter planted on a medium sliky body. The afthertaste is dry, slight grassy with a interesting bitterness that ends with a twist of limepeel and fresh mint. Storm (2684) - Amager, DENMARK - JUN 6, 2006
Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2006. Orange reddish colour with a weak head. Light aroma of oak and sourness. Also sour and acidity flavour with notes of cherry but someway very nice endeed. The alcohol is very well hidden. This one make me like lambic, I love it. duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 22, 2006

øbehavnske Øldage. Smells like a lambic. Smelly barnyard, lemon/grapefuit. Palate is dry, acidic, as it should be. Juicy/puckery. Nice balance, but probably with a touch more alcohol warmth that i’m used to in lambic. Its very good though, and another interesting beer, from this very interesting brewer.
[Another century celebrated with a Mikkeller beer - this time 7400] An unclear red beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet combined with acidic notes, as well as wood - very authentic lambic like. The flavor is again a combination of sweet and sour with notes of wood and hints of cherries. Imperial Lambic - nice. Papsoe (25059) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 22, 2006
(On tap) Hazy reddish amber with a tiny head. Distinct, sourish Brett aroma. Rather light body - I cannot believe this is 9.2% ABV. Sweet’n’sour with some almost vinous accents. Very pleasant, delicate and balanced. No trace of them cherries though. 190506 madsberg (11775) - Søborg, DENMARK - MAY 25, 2006
Draught @ KØ 2006: Dark amber coloured. Hazy. Small off white head. Tarts and horseblanket in the aroma. Some sweetness to balance. Flavour as well is sour and citric with the usual earth and horse notes. Quite refreshing and grapish with some fruity notes. No alcohol is tastable, but a light warmth is filling the palate. Medium bodied. Quite nice for a danish lambic. joergen (28955) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 27, 2006
Cloudy red coloured with an off white head.
Aroma of berries, wood and hops.
Flavour of cherries, wood and hops with acidic notes. mds (2250) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 31, 2006
Draught. Orange-copper with a white creamy head. The aroma is great - cherry juice, brett, oak, and earth. Not particularly wheaty but there is some raw fruit flavour. Decent balance between the tartness and the cherry sweetness. No alcohol is detected either - 9.2% lambic! Very good Danish rendition.
