Tap. Pours opaque black, medium brown head, great lacing. Aroma is coffee, dark roasted malt, cocoa, tobacco. Flavor is the same plus some weird flavor, medium sweet, light coffee bitterness, ashes. Medium body, creamy. craftycarl21 (2338) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 19, 2012
Draft at CK. Rich black pour with a thick tan head. Nose and flavor bring stunning roasted malt, touches of char, bitter dark chocolate, and hints of plum and fig. Actually reminds me of a slightly less complex and less big Expedition; really smooth and drinkable on the palate. I dig this.

On draft at church key in DC. Pours black with a thick brown head. Toasted malt and coconut nose. Unsalted roasted mixed nuts in the flavor. Very bitter finish. DoublEE (782) - South Euclid, Ohio, USA - DEC 18, 2012
Taste of huge dark chocolate, roasted malt, caramel, smoke, coffee, molasses, citrus, pine, and spiciness. Good amount of bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of big dark chocolate, caramel, smoke, and coffee on the finish for a bit. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a very creamy and lush mouth-feel. Alcohol is pretty much invisible, hardly any warming after the finish. Overall this is an interesting and tasty Baltic porter with huge robust flavor and easy drinking.

Keg at Kulovy Blesk. Pours Black with a tan head. Enticing roasty aroma. The flavour is chocolatey with vanilla and smoke. There’s an outside suggestion of festive spice and some charred wood. Thick and full bodied. Outstanding. Plovmand (8534) - Grindsted, DENMARK - DEC 17, 2012
