Beautiful hazy amber color, creamy head. Perfumy hop aroma; the flavor is dryish, caramel, no sweetness, with strong ending bitterness. Quite harsh, but good for the summer thirst.

Rich orange, huge keggy head (hard to pour). Fairly nondescript hoppy aroma, sweet and fruity. Harsh carbonation, very acidic. Very bland taste, just some sugary fruity hops, and little else. No balance, no malty backbone. Mikkeller seem to have forgotten that beer is a fermented malt drink, it is not a hop squash. Dull and unsatisfying. Bored me witless within a couple of sips. No balance. Rather than malts this has sugars. Sticky, not refreshing. Not designed for drinking. Worse than that, there is actually something unpleasant about it - it’s soapy and barky and dirty. Like chewing on a forest floor.
Draught at Ørsted Ølbar. Clear amber/golden - white head. Sharp hoppy, high bitterness, medium malty, De Proef yeasty, grass, chocolate, caramel, toasted, carrot, licorice, fruity, light sweetness. Nice. j12601 (10925) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAR 19, 2010
On tap at the Blind Tiger for their Mikkeller single hop event. Pours a hazy ruby with a medium sized beige head. Malty and sweet smelling with a good amount of hoppy citrus. Rich caramel, medium bodied and creamy, lots of nice malt. Light grapefruit finish.
