Comments: I did not enjoy this one as much as I expected. First it is nicely woody and its raspberry flavours are very well extracted, but the palate did not protrude as much sourness as I would have hoped and the result feels extremely sweet to the point of being sticky despite the very high carbonation. The alcohol is also well upfront. Raspberry waffled with ginger and soaked in rum.
[Another century celebrated with a Mikkeller beer - this time 8900] Draft. A deep red-brown beer with a disappearing brown head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with strong notes of raspberries and wood. The flavor is a mixture of sweet and acidic with notes of raspberries and wood. For a lover of Flemish Sour beers this is lovely. fiulijn (20427) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 12, 2007

Dark chestnut color; thin creamy head. The fruity-sour aroma of Oud Bruin beers is strong. Powerful flavor too, full malty, a bit vinous, fruity, chemicals… I love so much this!
Dark and cloudy ruby with a small white head. Really big and perfumed raspberry aroma. Sweet flavour with notes of raspberry and molasses. bager (2120) - Copenhagen N, DENMARK - JUL 12, 2007
On tap. Dark brown coloured with a tan head. Bit sour with notes of dark fruit, caramel, raspberries and alcohol.

Draught at Københavnske øldage 07. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is alcohol, raspberry, sour. Flavour is alcohol, raspberry, malt, caramel, sour, dried fruits. Nice beer. yngwie (17038) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 22, 2007
Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Deep mahogany color, clear, and without head. Really a juiced-up flamish sour ale, with a good dash of alcohol, but a decent level of sourness. Quite sweet flavor, yet very sour, with dried fruits as well. A bit astringent mouthfeel, as it should be. The finish is both sweet and acidic. Hazy brown, oily poure and small light coloured head. Aroma a bready, candi like and has tons of stuffed rasperries, red berries, eau de vie de framboise but also touches of medicinale sirups, chalk pouder (Johnson & Johnson), tar, solfer, pipe tobacco. Taste is another storry. Its is rich, with nice mouthfilling breadyness (Milkbread) nuts, frangipan (almond cake) vanilla and a very nice ballans between the sweet sugars and the sour (slight tart) raspberrie and other berries. No medicinale accents in the taste here. Thanks Mikkel for filling up the only bottle ever made of this stuff. I realy loved the the brown sugars and the fruits. Draught at KØ07. Dark brown colour, small head. Very sweet pruney flavour. Some port and prune notes. A little sourness, but not enough. ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 8, 2007
Deep reddish, brown colour with a tan head. Malty, raspberry fruity aroma with a light sweetness. Wellbalanced raspberry fruity flavor with sugar sweet notes and a light dry and tart finish.
