Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Hazy dark amber colour topped with a thick beige foam. Strong sweet aroma of brown, sugar, over-riped raspberries and alcohol with dryish undertones of wood and lemon-rind. Full and quite sweet flavour of wood, wild raspberries, lingonberries with warming notes of brown sugar and grapefruit. Long finish of brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, spices and grapes. Very nice! Dark reddish brown of color with a beige head. An aroma of cola-nut brandy, fruity notes and alkohol. A dry flavor of raspberry with a dry finish. JorisPPattyn (10122) - BELGIUM - MAY 29, 2007
Small rim of bubbles; dark Coca-Cola ale. Acetic acid, raspberry, tannines, old cognac in a barrel. In the taste, raisins, higher alcohols, cognac, sulphur, and very sweet on swallowing. Very rich MF, sticky, full bodied as few others. I do not get the medicinal flavours/aromas other taster complain about. Then, being a dentist, I might have gotten immune... There’s something funny about it, to me, it is like a little rest of brandy, in an emptied cask, that has gone sour despite all the ABV. Still, I liked it - thanks Lachesis for sharing, and of course, to Mikkel! yespr (48954) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAY 28, 2007
RB# 600. CBF07 sample from tap. Pours deep amber and brown. Aroma of sweet sugar and citric raspberry. Flavour is very very sweet into a slight sour blend. Some wood appears once the extreme sweetness has settled. Finish is alcoholic and sweet.

Draught. Dark reddish brown coloured. Brown dense head. Very sweet aroma. Loads of raspberries, almonds and brown sugar in the aroma. Flavour as well is full of raspberries. Is sweet and almondy and has some light grapish notes. Alcohol very well hidden. Medium bodied. Dry. Sticky berries in the end. A bit too much sweetness, but very interesting. A Mes rate:
Draught @ Københavnske Øldage. Thick, oily dark hazy amber colour. Nose is obvious raspberry but with plenty of other berries too. Alcohol is just a glorious undercurrent. Also has notes of cinamon and barley. Reminiscent of Rodenbach in a lot of ways. Very medicinal and tart flavour. Alcohol all comes in in a rush and is probably just a little too fierce. Notes of cheap cola too but in a really good way. Wonderfully luscious palate. Surprisingly drinkable, it’s one of those that could have you drunk very quickly. joergen (29625) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 19, 2007
