Draft. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Green grassy hop tones with some light cantaloupe and pineapple notes. A medium malt bill but citrus and fruit still shine thru. A bitter tea and faint floral tone. Nice. lusikka (7813) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 6, 2010

Dark amber colour with an average off-white head. Malts, caramel, pine needles and grapefruits on the aroma. Flavour is grapefruity, moderate hoppy, spiced and nicely fruity. Pretty smooth taste. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. Refreshing.
Pouring deep amber and thick head. On nose, intense hop aroma - toffy and toropical. Bit caramel and piny flavour. Soft bitterness. Quite well balanced. Bit toasty at the end. TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - AUG 24, 2010
Draught (in NZ, Hashigo Zake). Wow, a big punch bowl of an aroma, which carries all the way through. Certainly a flavour I’m not used to picking up here in NZ. The bitterness was surprisingly moderate, making this very sessionable. Y not! JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 14, 2010
Tap at Mission Dolores. Deep amber pour with a thick sticky off-white head. The nose is really great. Intense pine cone character and a lovely bright tropical note. There is a little kiss of caramel but it’s not distracting. Softly piny flavour with a little bit of pineapple and a light tea-like character. Soft resinous bitterness on the back of the palate and a lingering earthy finish. Nice balance of bright hoppiness and softly sweet almost toasty malts. Pretty nice brew really.
