Bit of yeasty aroma, not my favourite as I was expecting more fresh scent. Light amber colour. White foam that sticks to the glass. We had a yeast 2.0 lager as a comparison. This one has clearly more sour tones and a nice fresh and dry tannin palate although the lager is more bitter than this. Very surprising and nice.

Bottle... Pours clear and amber with copper highlights and a small, creamy, white head. Great retention. The aroma features floral perfume, pear and a modest measure of spiciness. Medium-bodied and velvety with soft carbonation. The flavor is tangy, fruity and bready with notes of pear and yellow apple. Yeasty, lightly spicy finish. Pours amber into the glass, with a wispy eggshell head that reduces to sparse lacing. The nose is of dank esters and grapes. Flavors are cracker, balanced by Brett notes: sour esters and unripened berries, and finish with a lightly toasted dry hopping. The medium body and active mouthfeel satiates but does not overbear the palate. A nice drier wild ale, part of a superb yeast series. Expect anything less from Mikkeller? Wenig säuerlicher, dumpf herber Antrunk. Süffig, in weiten Teilen wenig aromatisch. Hopfig herb zum Ende, erheblich aromatischer und vor allem hopfiger. 9/10/9/9/6/9 floydian1 (1467) - FNQ, Australia, - DEC 4, 2014
On tap at Beer Deluxe, Fed Square, Melbourne. Hazy amber body with a foamy white head. This is not that sour and has sweet tropical fruity notes. It has a nice subtly tart dry finish that refreshes. A decent quaffer.

A bit of funkiness, also dry. Comparable to the Saison. A very good one, but not sour yet. Let’s see how the Brett Brux. turns out. northropfrye (3643) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - OCT 11, 2014
Orange amber body loads of foamy head. Interesting kid of funky but not really sour at all. In fact there's a bit if hoppy bitterness and sweet tropical fruit. Some grapefruit and a touch of tartness. slowrunner77 (12133) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 12, 2014
"A weaker aroma than the other sour in this release. Slightly bigger body, more wood, and a hint of that stinky cheese thing going on. My second favorite of the 6." Stuu666 (13614) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 21, 2014
Keg at Brewdog Edinburgh. Pours amber, light funk, sweet and fruity, not bad. godofsky (274) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 31, 2014
bottle. pours a hazy amber with a massive pillowy white head. all i’m getting in the aroma is moldy soap. bretts apparent in the taste, but being a pale ale this beer is too hoppy to be a good sour ale. it is nicely carbonated and surprisingly thirst quenching for its ABV, but overall i’m not impressed as i was expecting something entirely different.
