Draught at KØ10. Clear amber colour. Grapey hop aroma. The flavour is a little sweet and quite hoppy. Rounder than the others.

Havde forventet klassiske smag af belgisk ale, men den udebliver. Ellers god øl

Keg Half Pint at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London in Feb 2011 - Deep Amber in colour. Hazy. Very Spicy and Yeasty. Hoppy; piney resinous and spicy hops. Fruity; citrus grapefruit. Big spice/yeast hit. Quite bitter spicy fruity throughout. Nice Beer! (2011-02-12)

Fruchtig malziger Antrunk mit deutlicher Hopfigkeit. Wenig alkoholisch, was aber nicht stört. Blumig, etwas malziger werdend, dezente Kräuternoten. Rund, gut. 11/12/11/12/7/12

Butters (4176) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Sampled at the Richmond Gathering 20th! pours a clear copper amber with good tan head. Looks identical amongst all beers. Doughy and caramel and hoppy as hell on the aroma and flavor. It is VERY difficult to discern any noticeable difference. This one is a little more doughy and sweet than the others. The massive hopping pushes this into the DIPA category and i think the style masks any effects of the different yeasts.

Bottle @ RG 20. Caramel with particles and foamy head. Smells sticky- caramel and floral. Tastes sweet and bitter. Light bitter finish.

From the bottle poured a cloudy, brownish brew with a white head. Aromas and flavors of wood alcohol and malt. Ful bodied and acidy.

Bottle shared by Butters at the 20th Richmond Gathering. Pours a hazy amber color with a large foamy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of bready malts, citrus hops, mild spice. The taste is caramel malts, bread, spicy, citrus hops, mild fruitiness. Medium bodied.

[email protected] Amber hazy. Two finger foam. Faint honey malty aromas. Sweet bitter taste with a bitter smooth oily peppery finish. Interesting knowlegde from this brew.

11.2oz bottle from Gomer’s Lees Summit, MO. Totally forgot I had all these. Pours a cloudy, amber-orange colored body with some particulate floating around. Finger-width, dense, frothy and foamy, beige head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is sweeter caramel and toffee malts, candied oranges, a light toasted bread, fruity peaches, and a touch of spice. Flavor is big yeast spices up front before the big caramel and toffee malts come in. Some candied oranges in the middle, bread, and a light banana note. Finishes pretty bitter and spicy, but fairly fruity and malty sweet before leaving a lengthy aftertaste with some alcohol warmth. Medium-full body and a creamy, medium-high carbonation. Overall, not bad, but not my favorite. A bit too spicy and bitter while never completely coming together with the big malts. Looking forward to the other 4 though.
